Don't just narrow yourself down with a list of "first step", "second step",... Messing them up and come up with a formula for yourself. Even taking risks if needed.

About the conversion rate, you can either stay low with A LOT of random traffics or knocking on the doors of people who WANT to buy the product you're promoting. I'll always chose the second option. You might think it's too hard but trust me it's not. Pinterest remember? Go to the places where your potential customers in your niche are waiting.

I am giving try to pinterest, let`s see how this works out. I do not have any bot or anything. I slowly try to be more active: comment, repin, like.

I am in process of joining some other affiliate programs for amazon, what allow to earn commission of products I review. One of them offers 30 day cookie, 5 % commission from each product + when checking my niche forums people actually prefer to buy products elsewhere not in amazon. Only downside is that I might miss some of them random item buys that can come with amazon. I think 30 day cookie plus familiar place for people to buy will make a quite a difference. I will not abandon amazon, I will probably include the affiliate link where the item price is cheapest.

My organic traffic have raised to 10-15 a day. Haven`t made a third sale so far. It could be because 1)products are kinda seasonal, winter is not the preferred time 3) Previously mentioned fact, that people tend to buy product elsewhere, not in amazon. I am slowly rising in SERP. 70 impressions a day is best so far according to google webmaster.

I have thought about making second site too, something easier to rank for, because it looks like this one will take a quite a bit of effort and time to get the cash flowing. I admit that this niche choice was not the best, but I gotta learn someway.

Here is the Number 1 thing with Amazon - it takes buying traffic to make Sales -- general traffic looks great but that doesn't pay the bills.

Someone mentioned Pinterest - that is great if your an expert and spend alot of time in that -- just depends what your good at.

just find a hook that people search for - give them some information about it -- then show them to choices and accessories and let them click and buy something.

your Site if done right should convert these people @10-15%

with general traffic your going to see less than 1% and that gets very discouraging.

Anyway you can never expect to make your first Site Perfect -- but to make things go faster - you can check out all the other Amazon Sites - check their keywords / content / buttons / themes etc and see how you can make a better more trustworthy site.

But the bottom line is always - find your hook and get it into the Top 5 results -- when you start to see Sales Add more content fast or make another site in the same niche targeting slightly different aspect of it .... don't waste time and money on Sites that don't sell.

There is a whole bunch of consumers out there -- just find your space and take your commissions.

Another week is over so overview what I have done.

Site 1

In google webmaster traffic went up and down all the time, but overall trend is still upwards. 15-20 visitors from google per day. Lately I have been getting a lot of referral spam so these have kinda messed up google analytics overall visitor count. Working on web 2.0 to give site another backlink push to break my rankings finally into Top-10. Doing all the web 2.0 blog posting manually, but when I have enough content on there and links placed to my money site then going to order some GSA blast to strengthen them. This site has about 25 pages/articles up. Made another sale this month. Random audio system.


Site 2

Got indexed lately, faster than site 1. Soon will be buying press release package for $5-10. 12 pages/articles up in this site. This niche can be marketed in pinterest quite well, so I have been active myself and using some bot help to gain followers, repins and stuff like that. No organic traffic yet!

Tomorrow I am going to buy 5 new domains and start building them up. New website ranking takes some months at the beginning so I thought it is good idea to already start working with some of them Niche choice have been kind headache. Hard to decide whether to take more popular products which have more competition or items which have low search traffic, but almost no competition. Most likely going to build sites in both categories to just test out what would work better with amazon.
