Blackmail

i get crap all day with fake url but email looks legit ....

all i do is check the header of the email if it unrecognised just report/spam it fullstop.

these days i never trust any emails at all , i wait for proper letters or legit phone calls .

even then cheek via phoneing the companys back ...

dont open stupid emails of threats never press any links ever , if worried contact the company directly straight away.

I am getting the same spam from one of my sites now... At least 20 emails everyday...

What can i do to stop the spamming?? At Captcha to my forms.??

I get emails like this daily but in a different manner. They told me that my email account has been compromised and they know my password and if I wouldn't pay then they will log in into my account and get all details. Guess what there are no important emails in that email account :) So let them do that and I will be happy to change my webmail email address.

If you are going to blackmail someone, at least be clever enough about it.
So this was the emailed 'demand' from the scary person.

This is a site where I last posted on 6th Feb 2016, which was a holding page;
HELLO WORLD

So, I checked his IP and the muppet hasn't masked it. Luckily for this moron, they aren't within driving distance of me, they're actually across the other side of the globe.

So this 'threat' is akin to mugging a homeless person living in a cardboard box, wearing no shoes and demanding money and valuables. It is a holding page on a dummy website, registered using false details on $12 a year shared hosting.....

Anyway this is the email;

Hey. Soon your hosting account and your domain XXXXXXXX.com will be blocked forever, and you will receive tens of thousands of negative feedback from angry people.

Pay me 0.5 BTC until June 1, 2019.
Otherwise, you will get the reputation of a malicious spammer, your site XXXXXXXX.com will be blocked for life and you will be sued for insulting believers. I guarantee this to you.

My bitcoin wallet:19ckouUP2E22aJR5BPFdf7jP2oNXR3bezL

Here is a list of what you get if you don’t follow my requirements:
+ abuse spamhouse for aggressive web spam
+ tens of thousands of negative reviews about you and your website from angry people for aggressive web and email spam
+ lifetime blocking of your hosting account for aggressive web and email spam
+ lifetime blocking of your domain for aggressive web and email spam
+ Thousands of angry complaints from angry people will come to your mail and messengers for sending you a lot of spam
+ complete destruction of your reputation and loss of clients forever
+ for a full recovery from the damage you need tens of thousands of dollars

All of the above will result in blocking your domain and hosting account for life. The price of your peace of mind is 0.5 BTC.

Do you want this?

If you do not want the above problems, then before June 1, 2019, you need to send me 0.5 BTC to my Bitcoin wallet: 19ckouUP2E22aJR5BPFdf7jP2oNXR3bezL

How do I do all this to get this result:
1. I will send messages to 33 000 000 sites with contact forms with offensive messages with the address of your site, that is, in this situation, you and the spammer and insult people.
And everyone will not care that it is not you.
2. I’ll send messages to 19,000,000 email addresses and very intrusive advertisements for making money and offer a free iPhone with your website address XXXXXXXX.com and your contact details.
And then send out abusive messages with the address of your site.
3. I will do aggressive spam on blogs, forums and other sites (in my database there are 35 978 370 sites and 315 900 sites from which you will definitely get a huge amount of abuse) of your site XXXXXXXX.com.
After such spam, the spamhouse will turn its attention on you and after several abuses your host will be forced to block your account for life.
Your domain registrar will also block your domain permanently.

All of the above will result in blocking your domain and hosting account for life.
If you do not want to receive thousands of complaints from users and your hosting provider, then pay before June 1, 2019.
The price of your peace of mind is 0.5 BTC.
Otherwise, I will send your site through tens of millions of sites that will lead to the blocking of your site for life and you will lose everything and your reputation as well.
But get a reputation as a malicious spammer.

Interesting way to blackmail someone by neg seo or ruinning your rep or business.

send them an edited screen shot stating their wallet info is wrong lol. it will give em false hope abt u surrendering.

also dont forget to ask who will bear the transaction fee

He might be over the other side of the globe to you, but BHW is worldwide...

Just sayin'...

send them an edited screen shot stating their wallet info is wrong lol. it will give em false hope abt u surrendering.
And you are going to reply? Just ignore it like the thousands of us getting it daily. Never engage, it's making it worse

I looked him up on BTC explorer, thankfully no one has given in to the threat

Just as annoying as the blackmail email posted by OP is a variant that uses login and password info to scare recipients about being hacked

This has been going around for a while and I'm happy that, based on BTC lookup records, few have given in to such scams

send them an edited screen shot stating their wallet info is wrong lol. it will give em false hope abt u surrendering.
only do that if you don't use that email account . because when you reply, it will tell the spammer that the email is live and will result in increasing the spam emails by x10

Lol, just got this through a contact form on one of my sites:

Message: Your computer, email and smartphone are hacked. We have all your photos, personal correspondence and access to bank accounts.
On June 3, we will post on the Internet and send to all people who you have in contacts and social networks all your photos, correspondence, access to bank accounts and payment systems.
You will be sued and the police will be interested in your person.
A ransom is worth 1 Bitcoin.
Pay 1 BTC until June 3 to our bitcoin wallet: 1LNcUGLunEpDMo4sxNAgAKAGk8eAddTGW

So far no one has paid. He may be using multiple wallets, though, and got paid in some of them.
He doesn’t seem to be sophisticated enough for something like that. Lol
Like damn if I’m gonna send out a mass email to thousands of people I would at least use grammerly first..

Unfortunately, it is nothing new, we see the same shit every day..
the creative ones fucks the company websites 3-4 days with botnet and only then get in touch

I don't get bitcoin, but I do get the fake domain notices/threats. They all end up in my spam or look super fake.
