Hi guys,

Not sure if this is a newbie question, if so, my apologies.

But was wondering if its true that FB has a list of VPS proviers that are blacklisted? and if so, does anyone know where I can find it? I tried Google but nothing is popping up

thanks in advance!

I doubt they would block entire providers would they?

Facebook is quite different with other sites, so I guess they do not have blacklist. In my experience, I've never met any problem when using vps or proxies with Facebook

Yes I think Facebook has no policy to have blacklist.Yes we can use vps or proxies and there must not be any problem.

On the contrary, it is pretty logical for a company as FB to hold a blacklist of bad IPs (proxies, datacenters, vps etc) simply cuz of the heavy spam activities they witness & monitor daily. And I'm pretty confident they are using services of 3rd party security companies/agencies that help them in diagnosing ips (and other user info) involved in spam acts etc.

Trust me, they have a blacklist. I have a domain banned on facebook, if you try to type it you'll get an error message, same as trying to type an adfly link.
I guess they ban the IP, not VPS providers.

They ban the IP not VPS provider :P . Once i got my Hostgator ip banned. It doesnt mean they banned whole Hostgator services :)

but they can ban /24 I have problem with a vps provider and facebook, i requested to change IP several times and every single IP within that /24 are banned by facebook

That may be possible, but I still think it's most likely individual IP. Maybe all those IPs were spammed to death.
