Blacklisted Domain?

Hey guys, uncharted territory for me so I'm not sure what the best course of action is.

We've found a domain for sale with over 200+ RD backlinks to it. The website is in the exact same niche as we are.

Our plan was to buy the domain, recreate the pages and 301 the domain. However, I noticed it was very very cheap compared to what something like this would go for.

I eventually looked, and the domain is blacklisted due to it having phishing. I imagine this is why the seller is listing it for pretty damn cheap.

How long of a road is this to repair the website? Is it hooped, or is it reparable? I wouldn't waste my time even thinking about this on most sites, but this website is a goldmine in terms of niche related backlinks with pinpoint relevance as to what our site offers, from a ton sites we've been reaching out to acquire links for for months and months.

Not sure if it can be repaired.
By the way, how did you determine that it has been blacklisted?

You can make use of web archives and check it out. Since hummingbird, Google may penalize a whole domain or just a couple of pages. Damage done? Time to repair de damages. You must remember: by giving the 301 redirect you lose 50% of its original DA. But yes, still worth it. I'd keep the website as it is and add fresh content. Submit its sitemap again and again after new content and be sure it's clean safe. Mandatory SSL of course.

Working with gambling niche and adult niche I bump into these domains all the time. It takes 2-3 months for total recovering but it will be safe and clean if you take the necessary steps.

Just simply tried to go to the website after I saw it in auctions and it gave me a phishing warning. Ran the domain through securis website and it came up as blacklisted.

Went to the domain, got the phishing warning and then ran it through securis site and seen it was blacklisting. I found it very strange the website had 0 indexed pages, as it has a lot of backlinks to some pretty evergreen content. Definitely set off some alarm bells

Yeah, every page has been taken out of the index, so I imagine it's an overall blacklist. I'd really like to get a hold of the owner and look into Search Console, but I can't.

Even if we lost 50% of the DA, it's still worth it by a mile. For the price, the hours put in to acquiring these links would be extensive.

to remove the deceptive site ahead warning, there's another form for that https://support.google.com/webmasters/answer/6350487
it's all repairable. if you cant get into the google search console you are fighting an uphill battle

Even if I went through the process of rebuilding the website, getting it re indexed, and after it's regained trust reproduce the pages on my money site and 301?

Are those backlinks essentially dead in the water now that the big G has blacklisted the site, even if a reconsideration request is granted?

The problem is getting there.

The backlinks are fine, the domain is the problem.
