Is there a password so that only BHW world gets in , no, so it's not blackhatworld's unoffical so no.

Did he offer this to anyone else but BlackHatWorld? No. So it's at fault of the people who give out the server details to make it non-official due to others joining.

Seriously, I just set up a server for us to all play in together, where we can control everything and get our own mods, maps, and admins, so stop bitching about it. I dont give a shit who comes in, but I set it up specifically so everyone from BHW who plays CS:S has the ip and can come and play together, and if random people come in, who cares, its just more people to kill.

I havent played for awhile and I used to love it so much.
However, I still like 1.6 more than source tho.

It'd be a lot more convenient if you set up a no-steam CS 1.6 server for us. At least for me.. I don't like CS:S, plus I think most of the online CS players prefer CS 1.6.
I play CS 1.6 every day on no-steam servers and I'd say I'm pretty good at it. Have been playing individually and for clans for about 6 years now.

How exactly would I set up a no-steam server? I'm running hlds now to install 1.6, but I'm pretty sure its steam =/

most of us have steam ... at least everyone that's played cs b4 and liked it ... idk why but I've always felt that CS 1.6 no-steam is different from steam in various way, including the gameplay ... maybe that's just me

well, I've played CS 1.6 for about 8 years straight and I've always felt a difference when playing no-steam, but as I've said - maybe it's just me.

I just realized I don't even have 1.6. Could anyone that has it try to connect to

and tell me if it works? I didn't config it or add mods so its just a base install, but I need to know that its up & running before I got any further

It's not working for me but I'm trying with my non-steam CS 1.6 so that might be why.
