Hi,

Im not sure if it has been mentioned before, but i was just wondering if anybody here is interested in a syndicate?

Im not sure how much a lottery ticket costs in the USA but im guessing they are $1 ? .. Well, if we can get a group of maybe, 10 - 50 people, who each chip in $10 per week, that will equal 100 - 500 lottery tickets each week, with a total of $10 each spent!

Out of the 500 tickets, none will win the jackpot (probably) but many will get 2, 3, 4 numbers .. winning the odd $10, $100 etc .. it all adds up!

If anybody is interested then leave a comment here OR pm me .. we will need 1 or 2 Jr. Vip members to hold the money and buy the tickets online, so if anybody wants to volunteer lemme know! I would do it, but i highly doubt any of you would trust me with your money ..

This is just an idea, if you think it's stupid, please don't flame the thread .. it's only for people who are INTERESTED

lottery pool might be cool...for fun.
problem is the trust issue.

lets say 100million was actually won, would that ticket buyer be honest
 
haha yea that is the biggest problem .. thats why i said to use a jr. vip member, as they are more trustworthy!

You really think you can actually make money out of lottery tickets??

You know that over time you spent 100% of the money but get a maximum of 50% of this money back? Sounded a bit like you think you can earn money with this...

If you are out for having luck you would be saver to buy your own tickets. The chance is lower, the price is higher but at the end you dont have the risk to lose a win to the ticket buyer.

By the way... the chance for earning 1000$ for spent 1000$ with lotto isnt increasing by the number of tickets. The chance isnt rising.
 
Lol I have been an affiliate of a lottery syndicate company for years, just saw that post there and thought someone had caught me invadin their patch haha.
 
forgive my ignorance, but how does paying for Jr VIP status make you more trustworthy? Dangerous assumption imo if you do win big!

Realistically 500 people vs the odds of winning is very slim.

And even if one of the tickets was for $300 Million, what makes you think that the "trust worthy" person who bought the lottery would actually divide the money with the others?
 
It wont work i got a mate who opened a lottery having his own big pool of webmasters and real hot stuff to win like cars and houses.He said its not working as you find enough people for the lottery.He sold it for 0.99$ each
 
increasing the number of people does not change the expected value at all.

there's absolutely no mathematical difference between:
1 person buying 100 tickets, and
10 people buying 10 tickets each and splitting the profits

also no one in their right mind would give up 90% of a million dollars just to be 'honest', not even if they were an admin here. :rolleyes:
 
Actually it kind of does, because your just getting a lesser prize amount.

So, is $500,000 with double the odds the same as 1 million with half the odds, theoretically.

To some people it is, others it is not.
 
im sure that if somebody wins, you will never hear from him forever :D
 
OH geez I have a better jv for you. How about we change Mac Donalds monopoly stickers, that way win a bunch of 10 dollar giftcards.

Man I ve seen dumb jvs gone bad but I wonder what kind of person is looking for a gambler buddy over here. We are businessman , not gamblers addicts. You are better putting those coins in a slotmachine.

If Money was to actually been won and there is any type of dispute and the entire case is brought to court. The entire syndicate would technically be voidable and the person who holds the actual winning ticket would receive all the funds.

I'm not a lawyer, but was in school and remember reading such a case, because there is no true binding contract it is simply a promise for a promise, no consideration being held for futures that we don't know.

Something like that... fuck i hated law school... but good luck
 
I nominate myself as syndicate manager.

I am honest (although a complete dickhead) and the state I live in has Powerball and Mega Millions. I think it`s 4 drawings a week for millions each.
