Blackhatworld is making me overloaded with information. Help me choose

with that type of investment, like others have said you need to go the "no capital" route. in regards to the information overload, thats what makes this place so great. what you have to do is sit down and figure out what YOU want to do or what YOU think would be fun for you to do. Everyones different and so one method may be better suited for some and not for others. Only you can determine which method to use.

WH? BH? Whore or no whore? Adsense, blog, blah blah blah... you get the picture. When I first started in IM I was in the same place as you and I tried to do EVERYTHING I came across. It didnt work for me. It wasnt until I sat down and figured out what I might be interested in and then focused solely on that that I started to make money online. A old music teacher of mine (a long time ago) told me that it is better to be exceptional at one instrument than to be mediocre at all of them.

IMO, if that doesnt work for you then just PICK One and go Balls Out...

To the OP. Probably everyone here making money has gone through one form or other of information overload paralysis. I found that the only way I could get out of this was to ask myself, "is this a method that I can do"? If it is then try it out, but you've got to take it seriously. Work it like a real business and put blinkers on for at LEAST 2 or 3 months and knuckle down and do the work. Only then can you tell if it is going to be profitable.

buy a .info domain for 99cents, get some hosting
join some jv for a product launch
do a wp blog promoting that product
search in bhw seo methods to make your blog go to the top
wait for the launch, and... thats it lol

people complain when they have just one method , complain when they have lots to choose from lol, ppl are never satisfied... i know everyone gets the information overload disease when starting out, i had that myself...
but really just choose one and do it, if that does not work try another one, you will only learn by doing. you will never make money just search for the next best thing.
unfortunately we are all waiting for a method of making money just by reading forum posts and dreaming about money, and when that method becomes real you will be one of the first ones to know because you are on BHW :)
 
There's a good thread somewhere on this forum about selling articles to Associated Content. It shouldn't cost you anything and it could help you save up some cash for a cpa/ppc campaign.

When I got started, I was the same way...a kid in a candy store. But you just have to get cranking on something. Try to read between the lines of what every internet marketer is telling you.

These two posts are really helpful. Thanks guys. Now i know how to choose. I will try to overcome the information overload problem and focus on one thing.

Take action!

Dip your feet into a couple methods, maybe 3-4. See which ones are fun. Follow the methods completely, and whichever one brings in any profit, divert all your attention to that method.

I know what to do now but i'm going to do it step by step. First i'm going to get some money to get started. How do i get the money?

Leonidt gave a good suggestion though. I'll write an ebook and sell it on DP. When i got some money, I will start the real money making. Thanks a lot BHW members.

Just wanted to say that at some point we all go through an information overload I am going through it myself, i have found the being active and actually doing something helps, I am just doing some blogging and stuff at the moment and it is keeping my brain active, and I am getting through it, and you should see the same so good luck.

You're right. Information overload happens to me when i got nothing to do, or my focused business doesn't produce the results that i want.

I suggest you invest that money in buying unique articles on a hot niche and then selling them on DP as PLR packs.

I did flip sites before. There are two types of website that I flip. Proxy and image host. I don't know how to flip image host until i can reach about $500
 
The best way I've seen things work for me was by personalizing everything, I would post a service, said I was the only person doing it, people like that. And I'd use either a hotmail or yahoo email address, and I'd only use my domain name to outsource all the work. In the beginning I found that I was generating no sales when I responded to my clients using my site's email address, the customer's were afraid of the support @ mydomain.com; it was too excessive for a forum, and it looked like an email harvester. Now I just pretend to be an individual operator, and collect a few hundred a day.

Ok guys, i got accepted into maxbounty. I was thinking of doing cpa now. PPC maybe good. So is adbrite any good for this?
 
I concur with the 'go buy some $.99 godaddy .coms or .nets' while the discount deal is still on, then either create your first minisites with them, or resell the domains outright. If you have put some hot niche keywords in the domain name, and used it to set up an okay constructed monetized site, you can flip the site or the domain for decent cash.
 
Having selected a few methods to try, I would suggest that you copy all the information from the relevant posts (or bookmark them) and then take a hiatus from BHW. Don't log back in for a week ... 2 weeks ... or however long it takes you to make significant progress in implementing the methods you have choosen. You may need to refer to bookmarked threads, but limit yourself to a say 30 minutes a day. Don't get sidetracked with information that is irrelevant to the current task at hand.

Once you have accomplished something significant, then you may go back in to BHW to research methods to refine your implementation. Again, at this time do not get sidetracked by other methods.

The key to doing something great is to to learn when to view the big picture (weighing in all the possible options) and when to zoom into the finer details (execution of the selected options). Once you are focused on the implementation details, you need to stick in that mode until you complete a delivarable milestone. Then you can take a step back and see what to do next.
