Blackhatworld Growing

More privacy of the information in this beautiful place :)

I also agree with this. I don't post much as you can see but I've been lurking around for a good time before joining and it's been a year since I've joined.

In this time span I've seen so many methods from here sold on other forums and so many posts literally copied that it's not even funny. I'm not sure how exactly to make this a more private place, registration via invite only, membership site, etc... but I think it's something that needs to be done.

I think one of the biggest concerns of this forum which i dont really see a way around is most of the big name companies snooping around here and figuring out our tricks. You know there are AM's, peepz from cl, ebay and google reading our secrets and taking them away from us. There has to be something we can do about this. I mean even if you make it a private or paid forum they will figure out some way to get in here. What if anything can we do about this? I mean look at CL , Gmail and ebay stuffing. They keep figuring out what were doing by all the information around here and taking away our secrets.

I think the forum has got all the functionality it requires as per functionality and uses, it would be cool to have some sort of online chat room we could log on to when logged in. Although i wouldn't want the scope of the website to be taken away from the forum in terms of posting etc. We may just all end up living in the chat room and never posting in the forum and i think that would remove the heart of the website and what has made it what it is today (incl the users of course!)

I'm very new to the forum. Well I'm new to being registered but I was browsing for almost a year. I think the idea of a chatroom is good but like you said it might take away the attention of the forum. Here's an idea. Something like myspace. You could build an instant messenger onto the board. People who are on your friends list on the forum will be able to chat with you instantly if you are online. Not sure if that has been thought of but to me it sounds like a good idea. What do you guys think?

Close the download section for new members until they hit certain number of posts. (Just like CS forum)
Or charge $1 for access to Download section.

A lot of new users register here, just to have access to Download section. We all know $1 is nothing when compared to what is inside download section. But that $1 will keep loot of leechers away.
And the newbies will concentrate more on money making section that on download section to make that $1 to get access to download section. This should be good for newbies as well.

Just my thoughts.. :)

I'd like this forum to be closed.

Yes, it may mean less money because fewer people will purchase Jr. VIP, but that's not the point. We are here to discuss blackhat techniques, and Blackhatworld is growing very fast at an exponential rate.

Other than that, keep the Craigslist section closed off till 100 posts, but don't mention that 100 posts is required to keep spam under control. It'll just open when you have 100 posts.

i think it would be better if the forum have a rule that fraudulent activities its now allowed to discuss..

Perhaps it should be by invitation only and more sections should be closed until member reaches certain number of posts.

I agree on banning people for starting threads about how do I make money or xxx dollars in a day.
Also posting shit that belongs in the lounge in the money making forum or BH SEO. Ive seen this alot and I think sometimes its an attempt to build post count.

My suggestion is this:
When someone hits the "post thread" button take them first to a page that tells them to avoid a ban, ask themselves a series of questions like:

  • Am I asking to be spoonfed?
  • Is this the right place to post this thread? (if possible maybe include the particular forum in this question...blackhat seo, downloads, ewhore, ect.)
  • Have I done a search to see if this question has already been ask and answered?
  • Have I read the rules about posting?
  • Am I posting useful information?
  • Am I spamming my referral link?
  • Does my thread title explain the intent of this thread?

Include a few rules about how to title the thread if its a question, a request, or a how to on a particular method. Also include a forum search box on this page as well as a link to the forum rules.
Then a statement saying " By clicking the submit thread button I agree that if my post is deemed useless, spammy, or in the wrong section I will be banned as per the rules of Black Hat world!)

Maybe this will at least make some people think before posting the thread.

I vote to make BHW a paysite.

Not with the intent of generating cash but,
with the intent of keeping out the unwelcome individuals of the internet.

98% of those unwelcomed individuals will REFUSE to pay $10.00 USD per month or, they won't have the money to do so.

I believe if this forum had a pay to join membership 9 months ago,,
EPN stuffing would still be alive and well today.

He have an IRC chat network and a ventrilo network for voice. :)

I've been in the ventrilo chat room a couple times and no-one seems to chat (I have tried to initiate), am I missing something on how it works? Think the chat would be great if you wanted to brainstorm a bit!

Please dont charge monthly subscription yet! My projects are just starting to take!

Love it here.....

Umm.... More girls? I mean I love reading their topics and posts... Sometimes it gives me a hardon reading their ideas and comments because I never thought of the opposite sex loving IM as much as we do.

I second this notion.

It prevents spammers, noobs and those who are not serious about IM from joining.

Here here, jdog37

This is by far the best idea I have heard yet. I have been around here for awhile as a registered user. Even longer before registering. I have learned alot and have tried to impliment some of the stratagies learned here.
Thanks to all.

I have not posted before, because I had nothing worth while to contribute and I learned a long time ago the reason I have two ears and one mouth, is to listen twice as much as I speak.

It is my opinion that limiting access to the download area would be a good thing. Make it unavailable for the first six months of membership. That would keep a lot of people from joining just to download a product or multiple products. To them it is like hitting the jackpot.

I personally don't think having a post qualifying number is a good thing. It only encourages and rewards bad behavior. You would have new members making junk posts just to obtain a goal.

Just my opinion and my 1st post. It may be a really long time before I qualify to do anything if a limit is imposed.

More hot chicks!

Seriously though I agree about punishing those who start the "Tell me exactly what to do to make money because I'm lazy" threads. But I don't think they should be immediately banned. Maybe a stern warning and then a ban.

I think this forum already does a good job of keeping important sections private from those that are not logged in. I do not think that needs to be improved.

Well limiting the download section might stop a bunch of leechers but alot of the downloads are about methods for newbies.
So if it were limited. I would suggest that it be divided into 2 seperate sections.
Limited and unlimited.
Unlimited section would contain the method ebooks and such that would help in your IM.
Limited section would contain the tools and software.

I also agree that it should be based on how long youve been a member to stop postwhoring and also people joining just to get their shit on the DNS list.

Then again, you are confusing newbs with noobs.

Knowing that some Jr.Vips got banned, it's proven that charging money != keeping noobs at bay.

After seeing some posts from some Jr.Vips I assume their parents payed for it because they (the users) tought the Jr.Vip section was the holy grail of the easy-big-bucks method.
Posts that show such lack of knowledge that a simple search in the forum would fix, and yet... I doubt they make enough themselves to pay for it.

At 10$ a month, you would end up paying slightly more than you do for Jr.Vip.
I see you are already one, so does it bother you that much that the forum is open? Having a payed "noob-free" section isn't enough?

Or are you one of those Jr.Vips who don't make that much and are afraid the internet will get "saturated" from so many people doing IM after coming here?

BTW, to those saying it's getting saturated, grow up. It's ridiculous that you want this forum closed for your convenience, after you're already inside. And a good IM doesn't worry about that because he nows how to adapt, inovate, and above all, being good is enough to overcome anyone. (After all, most of the people doing IM are below average).

WOW i didn't see this thread how could I miss it? Thank You Thank You. Hopefully BHW will continue to grow with quality content!

I really think it's a great idea Harro. BHW should stay reputable this way. :)

Awsome.

As you all well know blackhatworld is changing.

Its getting bigger which means more kiddies and spammers. Now this is all mostly taken care off and users breaking rules are instantly banned.

Now even new accounts are hand approved.

What else would you like to see here at Blackhatworld while we are growing?

Realistic answers only, for the good of the forum.

I would like to see something done about the flaming of posts when someone shares and another member posts something like "this is old or this is sh*t or this is lame" most of the time simply to appear "cool". This what kids do, not mature Blackhatters. The mature ones keep quiet and are simply grateful for the sharing post no matter the value to them.

Who are you directing this at?

The intent of my post was to exclude the spies and researchers from the very domains that we exploit to generate revenue.

as well as scammers.

how about a monthly BH magazine like WBB?

BHW can make money from ads...
