Blackhatters from Down Under I need your advice

Is it worth the hassle trying to move to Australia for a blackhatter? Australia has been my dream ever since I can remember, I am going there for a study abroad programme for few months (last year in uni, planned to come back, finish uni and go back to au) but when I look at prices there and their constant rocket growth I am just shocked. I guess for someone who splits earnings between online and offline clients it can be worth it but for 100% online earner? And estate prices... My ideal plan would be to invest some of my earnings into estates but with these prices...the bubble is just overwhelming.

Basically Australia is a lot more expensive then the US to live.

I'm on the Gold Coast. Think Brisbane was recently rated as one of the most expensive places to live in the world - just crazy. That said, it's a great country to live in and think decent wages help offset the price to a degree.
