Blackhatters, Can it be done?

If an average skilled black hatter were to start a portal site in a pretty decent size vertical, like:
* Health/Diet/Fitness
* Finance/Debt/Credit
* Time Management / Personal Productivty

Then using most of the tools talked about here, like:
* keyword research
* Manual article writing and posting
* Backlinking, link/ article posting
* Traffic purchasing
* PR ranking
* etc

Then monetize with:
* Affiliate products (complementing niche)
* Banner Ad's
* adsense
* etc.

Woudl it be possible to make $2000 / per month ongoing within 60 days of launching the site?

anything is possible but you will need a proper plan and what you will do each day and what results you want to see each day. Without your just working towards a hobbie but with a plan you then have a business model.

well yea, but each of those verticals is going to have its own obstacles. the only way you can overcome them is to first find out what they are. ive got my site up to 4k a month now but it has taken 2 years of tweaking, optimizing, testing (not everyday but every few months). But basically you find out how to make your site more profitable over time. Like there are tons of small things you discover over the course of years. Like how to decrease bounce rate, increase clicks, convertions, how to better get traffic, what keywords, knowing when your demographic is online, knowing what they are into.

It takes time but yes it can easily be done of course, thats basic stuff you are describing.

I'd say of course its possible, but you'd have to do EVERYTHING RIGHT the first time.

It really depends upon the strategic planning you have and the amount of effort you put on them. There is really no one who could exactly scale the profit value.

However your plan seems to be ideal for success.

Maybe if you very carefully picked out an old site to buy that has a really great existing link profile. You'd need a content strategy. Honestly you could do an aggregator if the domain kicks enough ass. So you need to pay to have a good site set up. Maybe add community features, etc.

Then you're going to need a TON of paid link building.

60 days though? I mean this kind of thing isn't really what I'm used to but you'd really have to stand out to break into this.

thanks for all your valued input. I am going to go for it and see. I already have the 3 verticals picked out and I think they have enough revenue opportunities in each of them. And, my secret weapon is driving massive traffic to them and building list rapidly. I just did a small test for one of the verticals, had 40 sign up's in 1 day, without barely opening the throttle up.

I will keep you updated. Hope to have the first site up within the next 10-14 days, and then the countdown will begin.
