Blackhat Techniques of Canva.com?

Hi there,

It's noticed Canva's tool land pages are always outranking, though some of them are not real function.
For example, 3D model generator, https://www.canva.com/ai-3d-model-generator/ is outranking, but it's in fact just a tool to generate non-real 3D but just 3D look-like 2D image.
In SEMRush, this page only has 118 backlinks, but started from it launch, the ranking is always improved.
Any techniques could be applied?

That is a page on Canva's website, what blackhat do you want to try?

If Canva had an option for users to create content and those content would be indexed, they you stand a chance of using as parasite, but right now only Canva can take advantage of the domain's authority to rank for things.

there is some background and history, at the beginning of Canva startup and the domain has 0 authority, their similar pages outranking than many of classic tools with traditional seo works, such as if you search generate ai character, canva was outranking, but the page is not to create ai character but just drawing pictures, and a some other similar pages/features.

So I wanted to ask what possible techniques they might use, and take OP page/keyword as example.

I may didn't clarify clearly, I didn't wanted to try blackhat from Canva, but just wanted to see if canva has used any blackhat techniques to outranking a page provide a not real function but just seems like related function.
Just like OP explained, they are not create any 3D model, but just generate 2D pictures look like 3D objects inside.
 
if Canva's website publish a porn video, it will possibly outrank Pornhub and Xvideos for the same video
now imagine those weak tools they release in a niche that they already dominates...yes, this 3D tool is probably garbage compared to other tools, but thanks to their authority, traffic and reputation, they are outranking everybody else

Canva has a very high authority domain, so they won't even need to do much to rank their pages on various topics. Especially topics that are related to design

yes, that sounds reasonable, but please let me clarify again, the beginning of Canva starts from 0 are on the basis of release a lot of weak tool landing page, but those landing pages outranked at the beginning (the time canva has 0 DA), this is what I meant and wanted to understand: how canva's weak tools landing page could accumulated DA speedy and outranking?
I did some searches and didn't find to much reasons compare to it's competitor.
e.g. ai character generator: canva vs. character ai (industry leading),
ai 3d model generator: canva vs. tripo ai (industry leading)

so maybe Canva's DA were accumulated by non-SEO methods, such as PR, KOL? please see my explain in #8 in this post.

With tons of money for branding. SEO isnt just "SEO" it is connected to many channels and any brand authority helps the whole pages. They probably do some link building to pillars page, but it just the 10% of the work. They have a lo t of potential landing pages because UGC, they can probably build any page related to "templates" queries.

In summary, i would say that they just worked SEO as a long term marketing strategy, and that strategy was built using the business actives.

The other one is "notegpt.io", as I made example in other posts, if you search Youtube Summarizer, Homework Helper, Math Solver etc., a lot of their pages are outranking, but at the time you landing to, you will definitely find it's a site create for SEO traffic, but outranking than a lot of traditional and well-known websites, so this is another very great example to learn "blackhat" or at least very advanced SEO techniques hidden.
 
This is because of site authority. They can rank for any competitive keywords with just little bit optimization. That is what they are doing here.

@john_doe_ please use multi-quote feature.
 
Canva benefits from massive domain authority, strong internal linking, and high brand trust, so even minimal backlinks can help a page rank. They also target high-intent keywords early, then leverage user engagement and content freshness to keep improving rankings.

It's called parasite SEO. Branded sites ranking for whatever they want. So, Canva is using their own site as a parasite.

Same is the case with MailChimp. They rank for tough keywords like make money online. You should look for parasite SEO techniques.
 
They have niche authority + Serving that service + Good User experiences + Well crafted indepth content + Content matches with user intent = Ranking.

This is true for any website. Google loves to rank big boys.
 
Canva sites are useful to experiment with parasites.
If you use your domain, it'll work as any other website.
 
It's all about domain trust and overall site power. Canva has that in spades. When a monster site like theirs drops a new tool, it gets a massive boost from the get-go, even if the page numbers look low. Don't just chase raw stats. Build your own site into an undeniable authority in its space. That's how you compete.
