Ok my prize for the best bullshit post in this thread goes to
spywarz for his 99 attempts - Edison tested more than 6.000! materials (while other sources mention up to 10.000 tested materials)
What are 99 attempts - thats nothing...

second prize goes to andygabon "they're not a real inventor, but they use LEVERAGE - Other People Idea/Invention/Time/Money/Energy etc..."

WTF Who is not a real inventor? Edison, Ford etc??? LOL The reason why they were successful as inventors is because the understood how to leverage other peoples ideas etc etc etc.

bytheway my personal "hero" is Mel Fisher!
He spent almost 20 years searching for a spanish treasure (a spanish ship called nuestra senore to be exact) on the coast of florida and even kept searching when he lost his son and daugher in law (they drowned while searching for the treasure)
His confidence in finding the treasure was exhibited in his moto Today is the Day.

Imagine doing this for almost 20 years against all odds, being almost broke several times WITHOUT ANY SUCCESS!

Thanks for the informative thread. I plan to add to this thread. I am just introducing myself here as a member. Nice to meet you all.

yes, never give up, even with the current algo's tripping filters for all the obvious then just edge towards more gray hat areas, when one site gets banned then just make another - even if it takes 99 times to get that elusive one booming !!

Talking about Edison, he was a cheater and a man without moral, he stoled most of "his best" patterns from Nikola Tesla.

wow.. I though it will be some technique about blackhat, but thanks alot. it's really inspiring me ;)

Incredible advice..... Felt like I was back in the Napoleon Hill Foundations - Science of success course again.. It is great to have someone refresh my memory and speak from their experience.

I am so motivated right now.. : ) I will try to maintain this level of enthusiasm. : )

There is a saying that you first determine what you want in life, you then identify what it takes to achieve your goals and arrange your priorities so that you can achieve it.

There is also the concept of traveling the extra mile. When you have tried and have reached the point that you feel you can go on, it is then that you need to persevere to achieve success

Words we all know too well but often forget in the day to day "business" of life - thanks!

I remember an interview with Edison on his many failures before finally inventing the light bulb. He was asked, "How do you feel about the 99 attempts that failed before finally making a working light bulb?" or something to that effect. He answered, " I never failed, it's just that making the light bulb was a 99-step process."

I failed a lot of times but I don't consider myself a failure, I just look at them as part of my learning process.

Thanks.

:D

Recently I have had what many would consider complete failure. I call it a setback, a big one , but nothing more than a set back. Looking at your post, I guess it was a step where I accidentally went backwards. But what is one step out of 99? :aikido: :)

"I had a friend who used to say, ?Today is a check ? cash it! Yesterday is an I.O.U. ? forget it! Tomorrow is a promissory note, don?t bank on it!? I think that?s a pretty good summation of life, so go out there and cash in on that ?today? check."

That is an awesome quote right there. Thanks for that.

Thanks for sharing this, this is one of the reasons that this forum is so great and that is everyone seems to be willing to share their info.

When the Storm is Brewing and the winds are picking up all around you, moving to a different place in yourself is much more important than moving to a different place on the mountain...

Yes "Wise words to guide us" 4 is the one that I need to focus on and not waste my time- Thank you so much :)

It would be so easy to just say to yourself "Well, two years of effort into this, and not as much accomplished at all.. Now what, FAILURE?!"

But... Something deep inside keeps one fighting. Everyday, it is a fight. Giving up is NOT easy. Giving up is impossible, and would only show yourself and everyone that you don't have that fight inside of you... This fight, to me, feels as strong as a will to survive.
Probably in most people here, the constant drive to push forward and never give up, is strong..

There IS no give up. Not even an option. Get that mindset if you haven't already, and the world is your reminder..
Accomplish what you were meant to, and are capable of, already! :)
