A great post and just what I needed as I was as someone mentioned earlier just going from post to post and downloading stuff and not really knowing how to implement it but this blueprint will give me some direction
I may have something to add as in the post there is mention of no really software to automate blog commenting but there is a free software called Comment Kahuna. It doesn't fully automate it but it finds the blogs according to the page rank you chose in the niche you have picked and fills in the fields you still need to read the post and manually leave a relevant comment for best results As a newbie non 15 posts I couldn't put the links in so just do a search for "comment kahuna" the only thing is the video on that page only shows the new features of the software I do have the links for the manual and training videos but as I can't leave the links you will have to request[FONT=Verdana, Arial, Helvetica] them from the site admin
Some advise on it's use from the owners

Comment Kahuna can help you to easily find and
generate quality backlinks to your website or blog.
But, here's the problem.
Some people post a dozen blog comments and link back
to their homepage using a single anchor text link -- using
a single keyphrase such as: dog training tips
So, all backlinks pointing back to your site would use the
anchor text (blue underlined text) dog training tips.
This is a BIG (but common) mistake.
There are two things that you MUST do to get even better
results with Comment Kahuna and dominate the search
engines.
>> Tip #1: Don't point all backlink *only* to your
homepage. You need to *deep* link to your secondary
pages as well.
For example, if your website contains the following
pages...
index.html
dog-training-courses.html
dog-training-videos.html
... you must get backlinks to all of those pages.
>> Tip #2: You could get backlinks to all those three
pages above using only *one* keyphrase (such as "dog
training tips" mentioned above).
This is another big mistake people make. Do *not* use only
one keyphrase in your anchor text links. Let me give you
an example:
index.html
==> anchor text link: dog training tips, dog training ideas,
how to train a dog
dog-training-courses.html
==> anchor text link: dog training course, dog training
instructions
... anyway, you get the idea. I hope this is all starting to
make sense.
cheers Hamma
