Blackhat Political Campaigning

With the election coming up I was curious to hear what your thoughts are on the political climate in the country. Campaigns are well known for their mudslinging and negative advertising, but even the Republican primary pushed the boundary a bit far this year. I can't imagine what will happen in the general election.

Do you think any campaign managers will start doing blackhat things in order to help get elected? What kind of ways could blackhat methods be used?

I guess one method would be to rank 10 websites ahead of the opposition candidates search engine results, but that really isn't that BH.

Also, the internet allows people to say things they couldn't possibly get away with in real life, such as "Don't Re-**g in 2012.

Overall, I'm in favor of it. However bad it might be, the ability for "just anyone" to say anything at all have have a chance of achieving resonance and consensus is a much-better alternative than having your electronic reality manufactured and spoon-fed to you by monied-business interests and well-organized socialists.

I once helped spam the world for a guy running a high profile campaign many years ago, i cant tell ya who it was because people would hate me lol but he was arrested many years later for selling his contributers list hint hint

Santorum dropped out (Yay!). Also, Re-nig isn't a racist or rude term...it's a term I've used in card games all my life when playing spades. It means to say you are out of a suit, but still have one in the hand...or to make false promises.

*Edit-now that I see they are using it with Obama...yeah, I probably would have chosen a better word for that.*

One thing you can do is organize a mass order of the competition's signs,and then have the people throw them away. You can also get people to purposelly click on the online ads of the people that are running against you.
