Hello all-
I wanted to introduce myself and provide some of my background. I tried niche marketing, product promotion, and blogging during high school, but I never made any money at all from those. I seem to be extremely terrible at SEO. However, I am now in college studying computer science, and I am very good at writing software, with a great deal of experience. I was looking specifically for innovative ways that I could apply my programming skill to generate passive income. Most methods I've seen cater to those with no technical background and focus on using Wordpress to easily publish content; I would actually love to learn how to do the opposite. I feel like I am capable of automating almost anything, but I simply don't know what to automate! Thanks for the help!

Welcome abroad . Mix your experience with new trends and your current skills and you will succeed for sure :)

Programming is a great skill, especially in the blackhat world, since most stuff needs to be automated. My advice - find something that works, such as building links in a certain way on certain websites, then build your own unique piece of software to automate and scale it. Look at platforms like FCS and GSA SER and build something similar but with your own unique submission list.

As a great man once told me, "programming is the bread and butter of internet marketing."
The best stance to take on it is to try and find methods that others are making money from without automation then automate those methods.
Learn to implement captcha solvers and proxies, then when you are ready to scale build/buy a server and host your bots on there.

If you really can't think of anything just make a couple bots for major social networks and sell them in the marketplace or on your own website.( i haven't seen any good skype bots lately since clownfish got outdated)

The internet is like a giant game where everyone is using others crafted tools to overcome digital obstacles, whether those obstacles be mass uploading a thousand videos to youtube for ppd cash, or simply logging into twitter to post a tweet. Regardless of those obstacles they need a tool to overcome it
By having the skill to craft your own tools you not only have the ability to create digital souls to do repetitive tasks but to manifest your own weapons to eviscerate any obstacle that stands before you.

I regret about leaving science group when i come to know about IM, but there is Ubot which will help in future for non- programmers.

Thanks for the feedback! I guess I need to actually experiment and see what methods are viable for me. I always struggle because of how much I hate writing content about some boring product I don't even own in some boring niche I don't care about at all, so my goal will be to pick a subject I can actually stand and go from there.

Welcome mate! As I am also a noob to this Awesome Forum and started reading money making thread.

Welcome, you're in the right place. Social media and social media marketing is currently a hot trend and does not seem like a fad that will disappear soon. If you create a software that will make analyzing traffic on social media sites easier for social media marketers and you price it correctly, you are likely to make some cool cash.

can you PM me? I've not made bots specifically for IM but I have a lot of experience with web programming in general
