Maybe you're right... maybe blackhat pick-up techniques are just a more honest way of doing things... I say honest because you're not lying to yourself about your motives.
And maybe all relationships are based solely on selfish desires. IE I hang out with my friend because he stimulates me-- it's based on conditions that he's giving me something, and if I'm not getting anything, the relationship will end.
I still think it's gross to do it, conscious or not.
