This might be a stupid question to ask, but how illegal is blackhat? The general idea you can get from people answering is that it's legal, but hated by google. But is it really? With just a bit of search, you can find out that everything on the internet is copyrighted, from million-dollar videos to unvisited instagram pics. Then, what is the deal with doing stuff like re-uploading youtube videos, pictures, videos, etc? I see four options here. Either:
-nobody cares, no jail
-somebody cares, so if you are unlucky you get persecuted but nobody cares about that chance
-people care, but those who do blackhat hide behind VPN and proxies
-i am totally wrong
It wouldn't probably be such a big problem if it was just rehosting without profit, but if you make money off "scamming" people, isn't that considered fraud?
Might be a noob question, so excuse me.
