Use your brains, people. If you're on a ship, and you notice it's starting to lean to one side and your feet are wet, maybe it's something to worry about, maybe not. Take a chance and hope whatever the problem is will go away or get your shit and head for the life boats, it's your choice. Philosophizing about the hows, whys and maybes of a sinking ship ain't gonna help.

Well my take on his post is that he is advertising for cam girls and the guys replying to him via IM actually want to see a girl on cam. Other programs i.e. CU, make money telling guys that they want to meet with them but in turn trick them into signing up for a porn site.

IMO, with cam chats you can promote a girl using pictures of a girl that doesn't even show her whole face, so when you send the guy to a girl he is getting what he paid for. You can even plan it out where you only promote the girl that you are going to send guys to. At the end of the day, the guy wants a cam show, and they are provided with one.

With CU and others, the guy has no interest in a porn site, and he doesn't even know that his cc is going to be charged (he is told it wont be charged) because he think that it is just a simple background check.

While both are unethical, at least with the former, the guy is being provided with a service that he is interested, wants, and is aware of the charges associated with that service. Maybe i'm wrong in my viewpoint but that is how I see it.
 
yea you are right.. if thats what he is doing, then kudos, but that shit doesnt make money, have you ever tried getting guys to signup for cam? i doubt thats what he is doing because he said he ewhores.. so that means at some point he pretends to be a girl to get guys to cam... anyway it doesnt matter, bottom line is bhw deleted a whole section for a reason... so everyone who e-whores needs to be careful.. no forum deletes a huge section/traffic of their site for no reason...

I agree, it is definitely a red flag. Wish there was more info.
 
Now that there's no EW section can we maybe get a section about pushing cams, dating and adult offers through legal means? This is something I would be very interested in and it seems much of the knowlege in existence is geared towards mainstream traffic and not very useful in the adult industry.
 
Not my doing (i am not the forum owner he has the final say) so we are not pussying out, also i dont think its pussying out i think its pretty much saving half your asses. Again its not my doing and we will work on bringing things back.

If we don't know what we are up against, and they delete the thread...how are they pussying out. They are doing this to help. Why else would they delete a high traffic forum?

They're not pussies, they are just not stupid. They know they can be liable for just hosting "unethical methods" since the register, host, and maintain the forum.

If reminds of the person that says if they government tries to take my guns away they will have a fight on their hands.... That is until the SWAT team is at there house and the comply just like most people.

come on guys its pretty obvious what he is saying here.. imagine if the feds spent few hrs on that ewhoring section, they would have a list of 1000 names to subpoena the forum and a lot of us would be fucked..

if the section is gone, then you dont have anything to worry about.. basically something _DID_ happen, and they figured it was best to just kill the whole forum.. my best guess is they got a few inquiries about some users' posts... there are some very incriminating stuff in that section that can be used against you guys in court..

anyway just stay safe
 
it's important to realize the owner of the forum is in the US, and we all know the changes that are occurring w/the law, the FTC, and more.

i honestly believe this is a move in the right direction. why have a shit list where we complain pple are ripping us off, if we turn around and rip off others? if you want to continue with this kind of methods....then go ahead and risk your own money and freedom.

it'd be nice to see bhw become a private forum for the most part. put everything under jr. vip....and the black black stuff under exec vip.

with exception for white hat seo, and the lounge.

i personally don't feel that anything here in bhw can be seen as illegal. after all, posting how to do something isn't illegal...it's doing it that can get you into trouble. i think the fact that the information is so readily available to everybody is what's getting the attention of the feds, big companies, and their lawyers.

The Feds take months or years to build a case. They have and still are on this forum. They are not your local or state government, they have unlimited money (your money if you're in the US) to use in their procecution.

I doubt they would waste resources like that on catching the little guy or everyone for that matter. A few big fish will be caught in the storm and then the wave will pass by.
