Blackhat for offline business?

I am working with a client at the moment on their website I notice they aren't ranking for a few vital terms which can really help them bring in more clients. So I was going to offer a them help ranking the site but was wondering if I used a package from the BST's, would that last on the website or could it result in the website being banned. If so, which package should I go for to help the client rank their site?

You could always build another 'mini site' for the sake of blackhat ranking? For offline businesses they're usually trying to get the phone to ring, so just put the phone number loud and proud at the top, and you'll be fine... test, test, and test.
If you want to be a little clever, setup a tracking phone number on the new site, so you can track ROI.

The best thing to do is always try, try, try - fail hard.
Rinse and repeat - fix the parts that don't work.

This in my idea is the best option. The other side benefit? If the client decides to stop paying once you have it ranked, just find a competitor that will gladly take the leads.

For full transparency on offline clients, I would recommend letting them know the risk factors, and the potential reward if you want to do black hat. Let the customer decide what they want, and if it is worth the risk for them. Last thing you want to do is just burn a clients site without them knowing what could happen.
