For those of you guys who use black hat methods for promoting CPA offers do you keep close contact with your affiliate managers too or what??

I mean it seems if you don't they would monitor your account but then if you do they'd be looking at it too, IDK...

Depends how much your making right?

what do you guys shoot for to stay under the radar?
500 a month? 1000? 3000 a month? per network..

gimme some feedback here guys..

all those amounts would keep you under the radar. Its always good to stay in contact with your managers no matter what your doing, in case there are any problems.
 
I always stay in contact with my AM?s. If I join a network and can?t get IM support, I usually don?t run much traffic there. Two reasons:
1. If something changes or something cool is going on they always let you know
2. If something is wrong they are more likely to back you up if they know you.

I?m not saying you should harass them, most AM?s are pretty busy. But the weekly ?Hey What?s up? never hurts!

As far as keeping under the radar, it totally depends on what you are doing. CPA?s want two things: 1. Legitimate Leads 2. No Heat from their Advertisers. If your methods provide those two things you don?t have to worry about ?being under the radar?.

Even if your conversion is way above the network ep c? Good to hear anyways, Im having some modest succes with a blackhat technique, figured Id give it a try and wouldn't care much if Id get banned. But now that I have that little money, which is quite some for me, I want to keep it :)
 
If your leads aren't following up, you can expect them to ask about it. I was stopped on an offer while my volume was way below $500.

Cop*eac. It was an email submit. I don't know what these companies want to achieve sometimes. Win this, win that, just submit your email. Then right behind that page is a huge fill in form with at least 10 lines where you have to submit all your personal information. No wonder people won't fill it in. But yeah it sucks, may just be the wrong offer I was on.
 
I run several offers across several networks. Usually when the leads back out nothing happens and nobody cares. There are however certain networks and certain account managers that will tell me to stop promoting the offer and/or remove some of the leads i generated. This rarely happens though. Account managers like to get paid too! The position of most networks is that when leads back out it isn't necessarily the affiliate's fault and that the affiliate shouldn't incur any loss because of it. Of course if you're smart like me your leads will never technically back out and nobody will bitch. But for the most part your AM is your friend as long as you know what you're doing and how to present everything in a nice little wrapped up christmas gift box to them. there are even some network / AM combinations that will allow an offer to get blown up (sry wont tell who!!)

ahh, ok, Fuck them douche bags, their offers blow anyways.
 
I got rejected by COPEAC but then when I looked at their offers using OfferVault to see if I wanted to pursue it any further, I decided they really weren't for me. Not saying they won't work great for someone else but some networks are better suited for certain types of websites.
 
Kenshin said it right there, if you drive traffic that doesn't back out (not shit traffic) and you keep in contact with your AM, you're pretty much good to go - just don't be sloppy about any techniques you are using.

PS - it's always good to get approved with a variety of different CPAs .. each CPA has different offers, different AMs, different promos - and it doesn't hurt to have backups. Don't "put all your eggs in one basket".

i hate when the opposite happens, when acct manager calls me constantly and bugs the shit out of me asking if i need any help with anything, lol

i have a network im on and got assigned a new acct manager and i think its his first time being one and hes inexperienced and learning, and dammit the guy is trying to be polite and helpful and all, but he BUGS THE SHIT out of me by calling me 3or4 days a week for no reason except to ask if he can assist me in anyway. lol

For blackhat methods i'd say it's imperative to stay in touch with your affiliate manager enough for you know what's going on with your account and within the network. There really isn't a finite limit to stay under the radar, it's more that you are using your methods intelligently enough to make it seem like you are following the rules.

Everyone is piggybacking in the cpa game. A lot of times those zip and email submit offers are other marketing companies trying to get more information out of your traffic to sell for 20+ times what they paid you. I surely don't have a problem fucking them over, but a lot of those offers will blacklist you once they realize none of your leads are following through with the rest of their offer.

Its definitely more than possible to succeed doing it, just takes some critical thinking to how everything operates.

well i know most of the sponsors im using since ages. or alteast the sales manager there. some small talk by time to time. so all is quite cool. and even if they know that im CS they will tolerate it.

so social engeneering is one of the most important parts of cookie stuffing if you want to be successfull
