Hello! I am new here, so please forgive me if I commit a social feaux pas or 5. Over the past few months, I've added advertising to website, and consequently developed 'bot' software to help drive up the impressions, etc. It does okay, I guess.

I'd like to let the community use this software, if they deem it worthy. It's just my way of giving back to the community that I've learned from, and possibly get some constructive feedback.

But, I'm a new guy, and I don't want to want to give any false impressions. Can someone kindly point me in the right direction? For example, online virus scanning, file hosting, etc? What are the preferable ways to do this?

You can upload your software in zipped format to Virustotal(dot)com. Check it here:

It will check the file for the presence of any viruses and will show you the report.

Simply copy the URL of that report and add that along with the download link of the software.

You will need to see which download sites you can use. There are BHW restrictions on the sites that you can use. I will give you the link to the approved download sites in a minute in this post...

Unfortunately, I can't post any links, because my account is still new. I've thought about donating to the site. But, I don't want to pay for the privilege of sharing. Hi, thanks for asking. I enjoy using Visual Studio 2008 Express, old I know. I've build this bot suite on top of the VB language. I also enjoy programming in C Sharp from time to time.

If anyone is interested, I tried using some bots from here, but it didn't work out. Thus making my own. I tried the General Lee bot. While it 'worked', it was a resource hog, and for some reason it would freeze and not register the page views with my AWStats on the back end.

I then moved to tViewer. I just couldn't get it to work with my various systems.

I tried Jingling, or however it's spelled. That just set off all kinds of alarms with my virus scanners. Plus, it wasn't in English anyway.

Anyway, I said screw it. I saw how tViewer was built, so I took inspiration from that and built my own. I called it Blackhat Bots, in honor of this forum. I think tViewer is strictly a traffic generator. But my program does more.

It does proxy list verification. It also does traffic generation, with my own twist. Also comes with an iMacro Scripter for Tumblr. I plan to add functionality for Pinterest in the future.

Anyway, the program started as a hobby, and every few days I will polish or add a new feature. Its only a couple of months old (started in mid Jan), and I think it's ready to share with the public, when I can share anyway. I feel it can add value to the community. So, hopefully you get something from it.
