"blackhat" as a selling tactic...

Man, I just see it everywhere, MORE now in Warriorforum, glad I don't go to DP but why oh why has blackhat become a marketing tool/marketing copy to sell shitty stuff, or ineffective marketing stuff.

More importantly, its just exposing most of our stuff. Superb tactics should be kept under wraps, or just sold free. I am not worried since most tactics and techniques need "an additional twist" to make it work but good God... I just hope they stop churning out blackhat as ad copy...

Because it sells.

They're not selling most of our tactics, just whitehat stuff sold as "black hat". People want an easy way out with no work or effort involved and believe blackhat has the answer.

Forex is another "buzz" too, but that seems to have passed in the last few months.

Any promises of easy quick cash are bound to sell, however false they are.

Even if it is bh, they will have to remove that white hat stick out of their arse before they will sell bh. For most I think it will never happen.

People like to do something that's "Blackhat" because it sounds mysterious.. and they'll feel cool if they do something "out of the norm"....

Blackhat will be just another stride in marketing itself... people will use the term to sell anything to anyone...

Most of the stuff that makes it to those places is on it's way out anyway. When is the last time you clicked on a thread or read an ebook and said "wow, I never knew that was possible"? The best you are going to get for your money is an idea to send you off in another direction....which is never a bad thing of course.

I don't believe for a second that anyone is going to sell you a method that is helping to pay their mortgage. Generally, people don't even like signing up under someone else's affiliate link even if they know none of their personal info or methods will be leaked to that person. I say let them have it and let them continue to sell shit. The more people that waste their money on the ebooks and then fail to make money with their sites, BH becomes more of a myth and the idiots start to vanish.

I have no attachment to the term BH or any other label. For some it is a sort of badge of honour to be a "BH _____" ...just fill in the blank....but for me, I just want to get paid and live a happy life.

Because it's "cool" to BE something... or, at least to be perceived as being something. That's why, on sunny summer weekends, we see so many bad-assed looking "bikers." On Monday morning, they all put their "straight" clothes back on and go back to their white bread lives.

It's like moths around a light bulb. It's just sheeple bait to draw in the wanna-be's.

There's no way it's ever going to really hurt any of us. If something you've been doing is released to the wild and loses it's effectiveness, adapt and move on. That's what the true BH does... he's flexible and can actually think for himself. He doesn't grieve and lament the loss of a technique he knew would someday die. He (or, she) adapts and thinks of something new.

There are no secrets... only things you (or the masses) haven't thought of yet.

true. I just go for tried and tested methods. I just hate that alot are doing this though. just pointing too much attention haha.
