What's the difference in white hat and black hat? Is it how safe it is?

The whole forum is about blackhat and whitehat seo.
Besides that, a lot of dumb question has been already taken here about this.
Use the search button on the right side, or just type this question in google.

No one will describe this over and over again...

There is none. Any SEO whatsoever is black. End of story.

You can search that in the forums and also on google about it don't post these stupid threads .

Uh... another member already said that. You're reiterating it for no reason. The point was already made but thanks for your input helped out as well.

Blackhat SEO is not safe at all if you suck. The difference is that blackhat techniques done correctly will be incredibly effective, but done incorrectly could result in a penalty or lost rankings.

IMHO the whole white/black differentiation came from WAY back in the day when Google was rock stupid and you could game the system, and EVERYONE did. I remember what used to pass as "white hat" back then and today it would get you deindexed. It's a BS term today, just like back then and what passes as white hat today will be black hat tomorrow.

SEO is like investing money, the more risky (outside of the Google Webmaster Guidelines) your approach, the less money you need to invest for the same return. The only approach that's 100% safe is putting a great website online, wait and pray for awesome links...in most commercial niches this means you'll wait forever with little to no results.

I'm new to this forum to. Only like a month, but that month has been filled with a couple of hours of research a day and actually trying things. @Nargil comment in my opinion is right. The way i see SEO now is on-page SEO is about the only white hat there is and even then you can do some not so white-hat stuff. That's your content, your headings, and all the stuff in between. Everything else is grey hat to really black hat. There are some things that you can get away with even if your bad or new at SEO. PBN building is pretty black hat. I've been practicing my PBN building skills on low risk money sites so that I can make my mistakes and not lose a bunch of money and I have made a ton of mistakes.

I must have read 30 hours worth of content on PBN building before i got started. I thought i knew everything. NOPE. Big mistakes left and right. But that's the learning process.

Forget about Backhat or Whitehat. Because the boundaries is too thin to none! It's not about White or Black, it's all about MoneyHat. ROI and time-frame requirements of your camp is more priority.
