I have some black hat methods that I want to use to quickly making some starting money through Commission Junction. But at the same time I worry that if I get banned, in the future when I want to use white hat methods I will be denied from joining their system.

My question is when registering for networks. Should I use certain networks for black hat and certain ones for white hat. Or fake personal details all on a one or two networks.

All replies are appreciated.

When it comes to networks, you shouldn't be doing anything blackhat or fraudulent against them. Now if you do something blackhat to gain an edge on a traffic platform, that's a different story in my opinion. But I wouldn't suggest trying to trick a network. They are your life-blood and if you screw it up with them then it's going to be hard to get back in. I would suggest being as clean as possible and get to know your network, affiliate manager and the overall company's feel and expectations of you.

Yes, the real question here is what type of black hat methods you are referring to. If you are using black hat methods to have google rank you higher - which in turn gives you quick CJ commissions, you should be in good shape. If you are doing click jacking or similar tactics - that's where the problem could lie. I agree with elliot - don't bite the hand that feeds you.

My plans are not super black hat, but I still do feel there is a risk of being banned. I feel like it would be best if I take my black hat traffic to other networks and keep my white hat traffic on main networks. I just tend to hear mixed reviews of bad networks.

You have to ask yourself is it worth the risk of being caught out later down the line, if you use fake details or the wrong black hat methods the network will be on the ball with these sort of things.

wohhooo just stick with the white hat method when your registering on there
network, remember there a future consequence when you choose the black hat method

you know what has been working? pure content and blogposts with 0 back links and 0pr, i have a site in a competitive local business niche thats a pr0 and 0 back links and just unique content not only to page 1 but ahead of people who been there for years. not to mention the people who been there for years have been buying links and crap as well.

You should use only white or grey hat techniques. CJ has very sophisticated algoritm and well skilled affiliate managers.
