Black hat seo v2013, what worked for me

And as a bonus, if the client stops paying, you've got 50 hubs that are easily redirected. Thanks for sharing, +rep

Do you interlink the private website network somehow?

There is also hostgator and simal hosting companies that can have unlimited hosting domains. But, 50 domain name is huge number and costs around $500 .
But what did you do next ? Are you interlinking the domains or all domains are linking to the client website or what ?

You can aswell do the same thing with web 2.0 properties. Instead of using domains, I have web 2.0 properties, like private blogs on different niches and I post an article once in a while but then I build strong links to those blogs. I have PR0-PR3 on them...and some get regular visitors...

Sometimes I also post article reviewing a product...with affiliate links...

How's that sounds? Completely free...

But of course, it's a huge effort behind, to maintain 30-50 blogs in the same time...

this works perfectly well, just forget about domains that were banned/de-indexed, register a new one and start over.

I lost a lot of time trying to recover already sandboxed domains, but it's 10000 times better/easier to start over.

i'm currently setting this up for 2 new sites. will report here how it goes

I'm assuming here that you are buying new domains right?

Have you tried the same thing with subdomains, instead of just primary domains. EG site1.mysite.com, site2.mysite.com ?

I hear sub-domains are ranked separate to the primary domain, and google treats them as separate. If thats the case then subdomains would be cheaper than 50 new domain names.

You didn't really say what is the "soft spot"?

hehe i'm using the same strategy to rank for locally and to outrank the giants. With 10 domains i can usually overtake competitors with 1k-3k

I am sorry if I do not understand one part. Do you have back link form each of those 50 sites pointing to your client site?
Am I right? Or which website you meat ranks for #1?

I have a same question.

Also, can you tell me approx PR distribution of your 50 domains?

i think there shouldn't be more than 5 subdomain per each domain. and this strategy is so old as Eli's blue hat seo:) anyway congratz op!

FAQ
1. How do I link to the main site?
simple in context 1-4 links per article, some have images linking to money site.
2. Interlinking ?
NO
3. How do i get different ips and how many ips for 50 sites?
They are all different ips, I used free hosting companies (you purchase a domain and get hosting free)
4. Costs.
I have spent approx 1200$ and spent about a week working on this, but now I have a client that is happy, and paying me good money + private blog network. And I don't have to work on the seo every day now!
5. Social signals
as mentioned above, social signals are nothing without the blog network.
6. Why not use subdomains/web 2.0 properties ?
I have used web2.0 properties, but the impact is nothing like this method. top 10 for these keywords are sites that have been there for a decade or have massive seo (300-400k homepage links, e.g. from sape network)

Since you mentioned 1-4 links/article, does this mean other links were pointing to authority sites or other client sites?

Good technique blog networks always provide powerful links, people need to start using social signals more often too :)

Any chance you can share via PM or some other form a few of the free companies you used? We plan to launch a private network as well and were thinking of using hostgator, hostmonster, etc, but the costs add up at US$6.95/month for each domain, for example on your network you would be spending US$350 extra per month + the costs of the domains.

congrats berkeli, you've discovered the beauty of a self hosted private blog network
hopefully you did some good obfuscation on the interlinking structure or it'll get smacked on the next pagerank refresh
there is a tutorial here somewhere on it, written by oldenstylehats but it's a bit old (and thus hard to find, but still VERY applicable today)
