As a beginner, Id stay away from automated link blasts or low quality PBNs. They might give you a quick win, but the risk of a manual penalty or getting deindexed during a core update is just too high if you dont know exactly how to mask the footprint.

You should aware of keyword stuffing, cloking, huge numbers of backlinks & PBN for better blackhat seo of your client & Contextual backlinks.
