hi i have a site that i am serious about and invested a good amount time and of money into would you guys suggest i do black hat seo or go with white hat it is a very competitive market

Yeah i would recommend doing both also. I do SEO for an insurance site - very competitive keyword - and could never get it onto the 1st page without doing blackhat. The site is currently #1 for their keyword and has been for about 2 years now. I suggest you learn and test on other sites first before you do it to your main site.

If this is your only site and you have invested a lot into it like you say, then going blackhat will put you at risk of the much dreaded google slap. Most blackhatters diversify so if one income source gets knocked out, it's quick and painless to move on.

My advice - get more sites in less competitive niches, then go full-on blackhat. Whitehat is extremely boring

lol that is true white hat does seem boring i am in a highley competitve indusry if i deciede to go full with black hat what are some things i can do to avoide getting banned from big g
