For a while I've been having fun in the lounge. Of course, until it was considered a distraction to others. Really, I'm wondering if it matters at all what I do anymore. Until I find a way out from under these cross hairs, I guess I'll keep quiet. Maybe I'll become some sort of a contributing member to this society. Seemingly, I thought my humor was appreciated by all.

But I was wrong, as it always eventually turns out like this. Lounge threads, were supposed to be for fun, so I thought. All things must come to an end. Considering I'm at almost 800 likes, I think it was a good run. Kinda, anyways.

How's BlackHatWorld going to fare, when I'm all business and no play? Are any of you going to miss my humor as much as I will? Things to think about, I guess.

Learning lessons isn't always about having to stop what you're doing. Of course, you should stop doing it where you're getting in trouble. Until the day it slips, and I accidentally troll the shit out of someone. No, it cant happen if I am attempting to regain everyone's respect. Go away, you damned trolling devil! Exorcizamus you omnis immundus spiritus!

Pro-tip: if the fun you're having is at someone else's expense, that's classed as "trolling"

Politicians hem and haw apricot tells it from soup to nuts!

It doesn't hurt the forum, but as I like to browse the homepage in my free time, it fills it up with threads that were just meant as a joke. If there was an option to filter out lounge threads (as most are a joke), you trolling wouldn't matter much for me IMO. Can't speak for others though.

I feel the same way about all the BTC threads.

I will not troll if there are no threads asking about paypal generator, how to make $5000 i have medicial problems etc.

I personally think that the issue of trolling is a mere bagatelle in the face of spamming, fake accounts, likes, reviews...

But yo lets crack down on the engagment pushers xD xD xD xD

"engagement pushers" Aww, bless :D

But yes, in fact, let's ignore everything that's against the rules until we've completely stopped anyone scamming each other completely. It shouldn't take too long. We can follow the police's approach of ignoring every instance of assault, burglary and speeding, until they've managed to solve murder... oh wait.

With logic like that, I'm surprised you're not running the place.

I always thought that a bagatelle was a type of long crusty bread. So much to learn.

I don't know since when trolling = fun, especially trolling newbies.

Having fun is good and a certain amount of banter is fine. It's just when it gets nasty or insulting, hijacks a thread, becomes overly focussed on one person, or continued way past what's reasonable - that's when it becomes trolling and it breaks the rules.
