Black Hat Gas?

Has anybody actually had any real experience in using water for fuel?

The actual process is straightforward and simple - an electrolysis cell, consisting of a water container, 2 electrodes and a DC power supply can be used to break water down into hydrogen and oxygen. Hydrogen and oxygen forms a good fuel, especially since there are no pollutants emitted - just water vapor out the exhaust pipe.

If you remember back to your high school chemistry class, you've probably already seen the electrolysis process demonstrated.

I did an experiment a few years ago where I made an electrolysis cell that could convert water into hydrogen and oxygen in quantites large enough to operate a gasoline engine. The only problem was that the power required to perform the conversion exceeded the power produced by the engine, so it wasn't economical.

Although the 'water for gas' idea sounds good, I don't think it will work unless somebody has made a scientific breakthru that makes the conversion process more economical than it has even been in the past.

If anyone has any good news about this subject, I'd like to hear it.

Forget the Browns gas solution, I know a bit about it and it takes more energy to MAKE the gas than the gas Saves. It is BULLSHIT and does not currently work. This is a crap e-book in any of it's varied forms. It is a killer Ad-Words/Clickbank Promo thou :) $$$

P.S. If you wanna get even more pissed off, Take a look at how gas expands when it's hot and how your 5 Gals when hot is only getting you 4 Gals worth of Vrooom...

Wow $4 a gallon? Last time I was in the US it was $2,70. That's a big increase in just 9 months.

Just start pouring water in your gas tank. It might run for an hour or two.

you should be checking out UK fuel prices then you will think your quite lucky.

Get into the scooter market, i hear there hitting an all time high in sales right now.

I just paid $250+ for an electric bike system that puts a battery pack on the main frame bar and a motor on the hub. Will do a review for ya's when it shows up.. it's really cool.. just replace your rear wheel on a mountain bike and strap a pack on the bar and thumb control on the handles and Vroom off ya go!...

It's 36V so those new Tool Battery packs Should be able to be modded to make an extended pack..

I love to mod shit.. just a new toy :)

Take a look..

Can anyone give an explanation on why gas remains so high when the economy is doing so poor. I know a bit, but the spike in gas when everything else is going down just does not seem right.

I recently heard the Europe has gas at like 9.00 a gallon.
