Im run an Ecommerce site with about 2000 hits a day and am thinking of creating an affiliate program and i thought here would be the best place to ask some questions.
Who should i go with ? Google Affiliate network has contacted me.
Should i start now or wait till spring ? Our Conversion rate is about 0.5% at the moment , but should be about 2% in Spring. Highest converting keywords are about 10% ( exclusing our site name). Im concerend a few will try and give up due to the low conversion rate.
If we offer 10% and the average order is $140 ( 100-500 ) is that sufficient ? This would be about 28c per click ( in spring or South hemisphere) or 7c per click in winter asuming average conversion rates .
How will affiliates find me ?
What sort of converting traffic can affiliates drive ? The product is womans dresses.
Can Affiliates target our 18-30 year old woman target group ?
Should i communicate information to affiliates such as seasonal traffic south hemishere is good in winter etc ?
Hope i posted in the correct thread , the other thread seemed more about which Affiliate to use and i wanted to target the actual black hatters using affiliate schemes.
