Bizarre Happening with Today's Google Update

I know everone knows about the crazy google shit today but listen to this one quick...

I had an emd ranking numer one. Now it's completely gone from serps, 2 competitors have the 1 and 2 spot but spots 3 -12 and 14-18 are all backlinks pointing to the emd that disappeared. Crazy or what?

Something weird happened too. My homepage was ranking #1, #2, #3, #4, etc for over 50 decent keywords, now ALL homepage ranking keywords dissapeared, and I'm left with non-existant pages ranking (like domain.com/t-mobile). This is weird, because the address doesn't actually exist, it just redirects back to the homepage

Yep, same thing with me. I have 6 web 2.0 properties and one Youtube video linking to the site that disappeared in the top 10!

One of my EMDs also dropped from #61 to #529 in a day according to SEScout. Old domain, and I was just starting work to get it higher than #61, but then - this one big blow in one day.

Edit: That was yesterday. Now the site climbed back to #91

Quite interesting to see all these threads coming up. Looks like there was a major update or something? I've stopped BH'ing my site ever since a few links were devalued and rankings for a keyword dropped. Invested in purchasing around 5 aged different PR (dropped and non dropped) domains and using them as a buffer site. Its kind of scary to see sites being disappeared from google's search rankings.

I would wait it out guys and see if they come back before doing anymore link building, ive seen lots of dance with my sites over the last few days and they usually come back.
