Hey there, I'm pretty new to the world of Crypto and I'm doing some research on Bitcoin transactions and I was wondering if public or government authorities can somehow link my Bitcoin transactions back to me. Thank you.

You would have to be someone very important to them to keep track of their transactions. Although it is something that can be done, depending of course on where your cryptocurrency portfolio would be.

Because, as far as I understand, there are cryocurrency wallets that are traceable but with anonimity.

The Gov. definitely can do that if they want. If you are in some observation they can do that, of course. You have to watch out for so many things. First of all - If you want to cash your coins on the legal way one day out, they can track you forever back. The Blockchain is an endless witness. Nothing will be deleted. Monero is the only anonymous coin what u can use atm. Look, the time of the anonymously is nearly over. The Gov. made the rules for Crypto in that way THAT you must do some illegal Act to stay anonymously. It's already a crime today in many countries if you not registered at your address. So, everything about Money, especially taxes ;) what they dont earn cause you try to hiding that anonym, they will be interesting in like a hungry chicken. What I want to tell you : if u already use your name at a marketplace or bought already coins with your name or some other name what is not fiction, your are not anonym anymore and they can track you down one day. You need to build that from foundation. It needs to have a system.

Monero is the anonymous coin. Everything else can be traced and tracked.

Yes, bitcoin is public, they know everything. Look for crypto focused on privacy

Long story short. Yes.
Without doing anything besides engaging in the default buying, selling and trading.
Everything is an open book paper trail.
To make it more difficult is using multiple wallets, restrict certain exchanges between wallets/coins, use mixers to blur and muddle your footprint.
At the end of the day, unless you are actively scamming someone, or doing something highly illegal, the authorities don't have the time nor resources to care about you.
The public on the other hand, hard to say.

If you buy your BTC at a platform where your account is KYC’d then yes, it’ll be pretty easy to dox your wallet. A solution to that is buying BTC at any of the available P2P platforms, where there’s no KYC.

Anyone at anytime can look up your wallet and check the incoming/outgoing transactions.

Any suggestions on such P2P platforms?

Mixer are risky and most of them they will go down or raided. Your best bet is to simply use privacy focused coins like other suggested, I recommend XMR, ZEC, CASH, ROSE, ZEN, KEEP...

Bitcoin in itself is pseudonymous, not anonymous persé - meaning a wallet doesn’t necessarily have an identity tied to it, but through researching the blockchain people can track the bitcoins coming from a KYCd platform like a CEX and still tie it to an identity.

there’s anonymous options out there though, the most popular being XMR.

If your wallet is receiving transfers from KYC platforms like exchanges, then yes - they can track it. Bitcoin is an open ledger And all transactions are visible.

Bitcoin is one of the easiest crypto’s to track. If you’re using a kyc exchange depending on which one. They can be linked back to you. If you are all about privacy then I would definitely not use coinbase they will give up your identity 100% if asked by the Feds. Binance maybe not. Just use non kyc wallets

They can take a very easy guess if you regularly send crypto to an exchange in your name

BTC is inherently pseudonymous, not necessarily anonymous. If you’re using a CEX and making deposits into a wallet it’ll be easy to trace the coins back to you.

Bitcoin's kinda anonymous, but transactions are public like a big ledger. Anyone can see your wallet address, not your name, kinda like cash. Governments can try to trace it though. Privacy coins exist, but they're tricky. Be mindful online, don't reuse wallet addresses.
