Bitcoin Relaunch?

Hi, I have questions about this “coin” or “chain” http://chain-x.info.

As far as I can tell, Bitcoin has just been relaunched here?

I have done a few tests and my miner is also working without any problems or changes.

On pages that show all Bitcoin nodes, you can also see the nodes in parallel next to all the other Bitcoin nodes. There are already over 100 and counting.

If this network continues to grow, I ask myself how and whether this coin could be priced and listed if the only difference is the chain?

Would it be worth investing more mining in it?

It looks like Chain-X is a fork or a parallel Bitcoin chain rather than an entirely new cryptocurrency. Since it shares the same mining algorithm and nodes appear alongside Bitcoin’s, key factors to consider:

No Market Recognition Yet,Potential Fork Risks ,Network Growth , Exchange Listings

BTC is an opensource project, anyone can re-launch it at their will - and many people have hard/soft forked it already. It still doesn’t change the fact that BTC has first mover advantage.

Yes, it seems that way to me too.

However, I wonder how a stock market listing could take place if it is simply the same thing only launched 15 years later? No other name or abbreviation is used or anything is done differently.

Network growth could be an interesting topic when you think about how much mining hardware is useless right now and only a handful of huge mining companies are still employed.

If it's just relaunched Bitcoin, check if it offers any unique features. More nodes are a good sign, but consider how it plans to differentiate itself to attract value and listings. Investing more in mining depends on its potential growth and your risk tolerance.

I don't see any technical changes in the changelog, the only difference seems to be the new mainchain.

I think it depends on how much you have in the old chain to decide whether the new chain is more attractive for you.

I only run a CompacF mining stick, which costs me next to nothing and still produces good results.

There’s already like a million of these forks - the original BTC is still king for a reason.

This issue is not yet recognized by law, so participating will be risky, a 50:50 game. There are people who succeed from it, even very rich because they know how to seize the opportunity. But there are also many people who fail from it.

It is not a direct fork as far as I understand.
There is now also a link to a video on the website.

Sounds interesting, but unless Chain-X brings something new to the table, it’s hard to see it standing out. So many clones out there already.

Interesting find. Looks like ChainX is basically a Bitcoin fork running parallel with its own chain and nodes. The value would depend on adoption, exchange listings, and how the community builds around it. If mining rewards and difficulty look solid, could be worth testing more — just keep an eye on liquidity and long-term viability.

Interesting project. Looks like just another BTC fork for now, not seeing much that's really new or different. The growing node count is cool, but without unique features or a solid roadmap, it might be hard to get real traction. I’ll keep an eye on it, but not jumping in just yet.
