There are crypto mining calculators available online that might help you determine if it's worth it, although I'm unsure about how accurate they are due to my unfamiliarity with cryptocurrency. In other words, take this info with a grain of salt.

Don't bother your time by mining the BTC with your computer specification. Like @papasound said, you need Antminer to mining BTC. But you can still mine cryptocurrency such as Monero and ETH. I had 4x RX580 and just earn $20 till $30 a week from XMR. And cannot cover the electricity cost. I Need an advice.

my advice mining bitcoin with GPU its better than CPU
one of low budget bitcoin mining hardware is antminer s7 you will use it but monthly electricity bill will be more than $450

I was doing it with p4 too and earned 80$ per day, now im mining btc with my ipad mini 2, good profit
Seriously, bought two antminer d3 will receive them in the next weeks, the profit for x11 was 5000$ per month in august, but the damn dificulty, now the profit is only 100$ per month, i bought them for 1490$ unit from bitmain, not worthy
That's bad numbers. If financed, maybe ok, but then after a year that would be hard to sell them, since pc specs change so fast. Wow. Sorry for your loss, and thank you for share.
