Went up tremendously, 33% since last week. (Fell like 25$ today though)

My balance increased amazingly, I wake up every morning with more money, even when I have spent a chunk of it.
In 2013 there was a huge crash around this value so I set an warning alert on my phone for when it drops below 850$ so I can move it to my EUR wallet :)

I feel like an old man regarding bitcoins, I never used them, and don't know exactly how they work and if they are safe an all, never liked the idea that I have my wallet on a random website :S But I'm sure it's safe and ull, but still, I never liked the idea of it

You can buy an physical wallet, it's like an USB stick :p
I like the idea behind BTC. I don't have a lot of faith in the big banks, lots of factual reasons.

Someone pumped and dumped it. If I recall correctly, it fluctuates like crazy. It'll probably drop down to $400 or so, then go back up to $1k, since it was at that amount not to long ago.

Google is your friend. Don't buy now. It's going to keep dropping because when people even see a slight drop they panic-sell at a low price. That max influx of BTCs being sold at a low price makes it crash.

Yes virtual, but you have it in a portable way.

There's no "getting started" in BTC, you buy it low and sell high. Determine low and high using the all-time graph on CoinBase.
Download an BTC app and make warnings when btc falls at x amount. Do stuff like that, other than that there's not much to it.

I sold mine high at 1100+ 2 weeks ago, or so.
Made money for nothing, since I always kept my capital in BTC :)

No, I wouldn't compare it to shares in a company. But yes, the unpredictability is similar to that of stocks. (Although I think stocks are waaaay more predictable than BTC)

The longer you wait to sell them, the longer you risk loosing your profit. I mean I remember some kid I knew selling his at 500 and the next week it was up to 1k+, though so if you wanna take a gamble...
