Many people without investment background thought bitcoin is an easy way of getting rich - hah!

Thinking after bitcoin,

They got it all wrong, the bitcoin is currently overrated so instead of getting rich you'll easily lose your money.

They'll end up saying,

The bitcoin price is supposed to be between $2k to $3k tops. Anything above that is too risky, guys!

The price looks like it is holding up but it's going to keep going down!

I am familiar with btc when it was like 1$. At the time btc was more about innovation. Now its only about the ROI. The initial energy that surrounded the btc community ceased to exist, imo.

I remember those times too. That 2000 BTC wallet when it was 0.2-0.3 :')
When LibertyReserve closed, it really grew the whole community about the innovation. It still exists, but it's more limited. /r/cryptocurrency still has a lot of diversity and some of the old energy.

Damn people, the price of BTC and ANYTHING else is whatever the buyers are willing to pay. Thats it. Not a cent more or less. OP how exactly you put a 2-3k price? Based on what? If tomorrow people decide to not spend more than $1k for a BTC this is exactly what the price will be. Similarly if there is buyers that are willing to spend 500k then thats what the price of BTC is. This is true for everything, but is especially true for crypto because the price doesn't depend of anything "real" - there is no production numbers, there is no sales numbers, its purely demand and supply kind of price. So no, you cannot predict SHIT based of "hard" numbers. BTC have and always has speculative price.

Also no, its not a bubble, nor a Ponzi scheme. Also no, I dont keep any BTCs, simply because I am keeping the more volatile alt coins - higher risk, higher reward, with the full knowledge that tomorrow they may cost $0.

I think its too late to make good money with bitcoin now.

I got lucky and invested when it was around 3-4k and sold at the spike around 18k. But I don't see it going back to that price.
