- Decentralized? https://blockchain.info/pools or this

- Lower fees? 1 BTC = $7,500.00. And the fees will cost you 0.01 BTC ($75.00) per transaction.
So if 1 BTC = $100,000.00. So the fees will cost you $1000.00 (0.01 BTC) in the future.

Where are you getting 0.01 btc per transaction? 0.001 is a more realistic fee even with a few inputs. So $7.50 a transaction.

Other than that I agree. Bitcoin as it is can never be a mass adopted currency. It just doesn't scale.

The upcoming fork will prove it is resistant to any change by spinning off another altcoin and yes its getting decentralised but If any one organisation gains 51% of the mining power then they will create a fork - another altcoin.

As long as some people out there are willing to run the miner software for the original chain then bitcoin will exist. It will probably be as a curiosity object in the new blockchain powered world, a proof of concept, it will have proved its point but in some weird way remain collectable. Fuck knows what it'l be worth by then. We'll probably be all be using ChickenCoin or some other alt.

Hopefully more volume can make it less volatile meaning it could survive as a store of wealth. Digital gold for the mp3 generation or something.

Im still 90% bitcoin but getting twitchy.

The upcoming fork will prove that you can't make changes that don't make any sense like issuing a coin that doesn't have replay protection and trying to take bitcoins name when no one agrees. Bitcoin has been "forked" many many times but made sense and every one agreed. No one will support b2x. Bitcoin can never be mass adopted? Look around, it's happening right in your face. A futures exchange called the CME group is going to trade bitcoin futures for christ sakes. Rest in peace fiat. How can one organization gain 51% of the mining power? Impossible! and forks can't be stopped because of open source but nobody will care. Forks don't matter. No2x

agree with you , with small trax you will still get a high fee , for mass adoption like the so that it can stand in front of dollar this fee need to be disappeared and the confirmation must be done in a minute , but the way it is heading only the payment of thousands or more will be suitable in BTC, for the small payment it is not a good idea to pay in BTC , just like in dollar - notes for $1, $10, $100 are different , i think similer might happen in the case of BTC , different currency for different amount of payment , like payment of thousand in BTC , 100s in ETH , for $1-$5 we might use a small coin that whose transition can be verified in seconds/ -

Bitcoin is classic and ancient so people wont dump it ,in the upcoming coins devs are smart about making the fee thing ,monero is the next best to bitcoin ,
