Bitcoin gambling

Bitcoin gambling is taking off, with several site making $1/2 million in profits or more over the last 6 months.

these sites are simple, look at satoshi dice.com not much to it.

So, how would one go about coding something like this up? The bitcoin part is fairly easy, just need the game code.

any ideas? Does anyone have code like this for online games that could be converted to bitcoin games?

SatoshiDice is open source, you can find the code on github. You'd have to understand PHP to edit the code and html/css to design the front-end.

I have made a few simple games, mostly Satoshi Dice kinda things, but with better graphics. They do well. I had one site earning 10 btc a week.

That's not bad for a site that is just getting started, and certainly better than anything I was earning through IM.

that's a decent idea, and I have seen a few of these, mainly very simple games for wordpress installs. It would be nice to see a turnkey platform for bitcoin gambling. Make the game based on configurable modules, and drop in some graphics.

It depends on your location, but in the US, the illegal part of online gambling is using USD/Visa/Mastercard for gambling.

It's probably the #1 use for bitcoin right now. Gambling is always big!

I'm looking forward to start a bictcoin based gambling site. If someone wants to join, it will be perfect because it will take less time, less effort and a potential bigger profit. My main area of activity is Design and Marketing and I have a decent experience in programming. So I am looking for someone experienced in web development to start this project.

for a site you'd need to either have a better interface, better graphics, or have first mover advantage. There are a lot of bitcoin gambling sites now.

while those things are nice, new games are being developed all the time. There is a lot of room in the bitcoin ecosystem for gambling and similar services.

livebitcoinpoker is rather nice and is a great alternative to SWC.
