Yup, the only people who saw ROI's like that are people that found some they forgot they had lol. I doubt anyone could hold out that long without selling or buying some. Good for them if they did though. I knew a guy about 10 years ago who had tens of thousands of bitcoin when they were around $1 - $2 and he used them to travel. He asked me if I knew anything about bitcoin at the time and I just said no, not to here of it again for a few more years. From what I gather he would sell thousands at a time to get a handful of cash to travel and bum around for a few months and then do the same thing over until he ran out I guess. I wonder if he ever had any left when the price started to rise.

investing is as simple as buying low and hodling for quite sometimes... Now it's easy to say, but who can do that? who would have thought that BTC will hit 60k after 10years?? No one.
Whales know how to hodl and be patient for years. While most of us who want to buy and sell tomorrow can't handle it.

sometimes I think I should pick like 10 to 20 coins and invest $100 on each... save them in ledger wallet and do nothing except watching the next big coin/token after btc and Eth

I think it's less of a question of knowing how and more of a question of having the resources to allow one to do it. I know how to hold, I just might not have the ability to have assets tied up. Some billionaire will be able to do that much easier, it does not necessarily mean he/she knows how to do it better.
