its a volatile currency... it will have huge swings till it stabilizes. ( at least my drugs went down in price

History will repeat itself, I guess:

For the tulip mania, it was believed to be no more buyers; some said it was because of the bubonic plague scare.
For bitcoin, it's DDoS :/

Can't u see it folks? When its value will be 10-20$ so many people will buy, because out there are sooo many who regrets not buying them when they should have. Everybody will invest as much/whatever sum they consider and let it sit. Price will go up one day again, and I ain't missing the next train.

I really hate hearing about Bitcoin. I missed out on thousands of dollars by selling long before anybody heard of Bitcoins at $5. I'm really in disbelief that this happened to Bitcoin, I mean WTF?

Yeah, but if you think it will last for a while there is money to be made starting new sites and businesses that revolve around bitcoin.

It does hurt, though, thinking that you could've been stocking up at $2/coin.

I sold mine at $130.. Now I am waiting for it to go down .. the volatility seems to have decreased these days.

I still came out ahead selling at $5 which is why I sold, then I held 10 so I still got $1000+ in Bitcoin so I can't complain since my video card made 3x its value at that cost. What's ironic is that I stopped mining them because I had to use my computer for IM work! Still can't complain since I made far more in IM than I did in Bitcoin and I hope it proves to be more sustainable than Bitcoin. It really does piss me off seeing all these Bitcoin threads here when I think that I coulda had it all" lol.

Edit: I should note that I never once bought Bitcoins, only mined them. However, I'm considering investing the next time prices go down, however obviously my IM investments take priority.
