The bitcoin class of 2021 should understand that bitcoin and other cryptos known as altcoins are merciless assets.

Seems like the entire cryptocurrency market is on the freefall. I think cashing out on crypto is the best option at the moment.

After looking at the crypto market today, I said oh my... We the class of 2017 have learned our lessons by now :)

i feel its a little late for that. taking out money at eth 3600 would have been ok. doing it now with eth at 2300 is risky, because we don't know what will happen. it may go up to normal and you would lose out on the ride. it may go down further. the moment to pull out was a few days ago IMO. this is the moment to hold any assets you didn't pull out, forget about them, and wait for the next bull market.

Everyone can lose in crypto.
Everyone has different entry points.
Everyone has different exit points.
There are so many available projects to invest in.
You can simultaneously win somewhere and lose somewhere else.
It's part of the beauty of it.
Everyone can win and everyone can lose.
At the same time.

of course someone somewhere is in loss (like in literally anything that involves money), that doesn't mean crypto is not profit. BTC alone has been one of the best performing assets for how many years now? thing is, if you don't know what you are doing, you can get burnt, like with any asset. i, for example, am not an expert, so rather than trying to time my exit and rebuy, i will just hold my eth until the next bull cycle (and beyond).
 
I get feelings for cashing out too but it is not a good decision is what my friends told me.

Yes, ideally, you'd not want to cash out while in the red. Just sit back, watch some Netflix, and give it a week or two (or three+) for things to be resolved.
Impatient people get rekt in crypto. If you can afford to, now just might be the best time to add to your bags.
 
A year ago btc was at 10k. 6 month ago in 18k. Now it's at 36k.
No need to panic. The price of crypto fluctuate much more than any other investment we are used to but over time the value goes up.

Why on earth would you sell crypto now. Wtf?

If you need to "cash out", you're not investing, you're gambling.

You never, ever need to cash out investment money. You invest it and keep growing it until the end of time. There is never a cash out. Ever.

Even if this is the big crash, I ask again :- WHY would you sell it?

The only reason you should be selling right now is if you bought in SUPER low and are still at a 7-8x. Then take your profits, wait for it to go lower and buy back.

Anyone else should just hold. It'll either go back up and we'll continue the bull run, or it'll be back up in 2024. Selling now at a loss and you'll be another one of those people crying in hindsight about how you wish you'd held because you used to own X of some coin, that's now 20x higher in value.
