I'm very confident with what Kim Dotcom said - it will be over $2,000 by the end of the year. I've bought some BTC few days ago and will invest 20%-25% of my monthly profits on it.
Here's the thing - Bitcoin has been slowly going up without any news hype which is an awesome sign. The Chinese economy does have an impact on it however (when it reached $1,000 - it soon fell down because of the Chineese economy).
AirBnB will most likely adding Bitcoin too (it was one of their most requested features for 2017). However I would say that's not as significant as people would imagine it to be. Right now BItcoin is primarily used for $xxx-$x,xxx transactions. When it hits the $0.0x-$xx market, you will see a huge increase and it will play a big role in the way people use it. The world is becoming more free in terms of content being shared (whether movies, shows, music, tools & etc).
I'm a believer that Bitcoin will have a huge impact on the Music industry (+ more) with microtransactions (currently unavailable due to high credit card processing fees and other complications). Artists will be giving out their music for free, and people will be donating a few cents for that in appreciation (which can be very profitable for the industry).
Mega 2.0 + Bitache (if I think what it is) will give Bitcoin a gateway to the lower (yet HUGE) market. 100 Million users automatically having a Bitcoin wallet and earning money through Bitcoin donations for their shares. I know I certainly would donate a few cents at least for good shares. Sad to hear Mega 2.0 was delayed, was really hoping to see what kind of impact it will have.
