Yeah because btc is going to randomly fall from 4305 to 2500?I am watching BTC at the moment and looking to buy at around $2.5k. There should be some profit taking that causes price correction at some stage. At the current price, I do not see demand pushing the prices any higher unless price correction occurs. So I do have to agree up to certain extend with the article shared.
I wish I knew bitcoin existed in 2009. I mean for $100, which I could've made up by working 1 day mowing lawns, Walmart, subway, uber, etc. I could be a zillionaire right now.i never invested in bitcoin...even thought my sisters man told me WHILLEEE back to do it... i said naahhh dont belive in that...look now...
im late to the train lol
there seems to be a news story every week with the same exact headline: "hackers steal $25 million in bitcoin"
isnt it just a matter of time before investors realize the following:
1) bitcoin isnt safe from theft
2) not enough major retailers even accept bitcoin
...and then there will be an epic crash?
100% exactly my thoughts!! Like I said, I will be quite happy if it plummets back down because I will buy more for sure. I also think that digital currency is the future, its going to be huge even if there is lots of skepticism right now. And I don't think it really matters whether bitcoin is the best one, or whether it has flaws, it was here first and its taken hold and its here to stay - just like Blueray, Just like VHS, just like Microsoft.
I agree with you up is the only way, regardless of how the price fluctuates in the short term.
And I agree with every single word you said. Digital currency is definitely the biggest upcoming thing. It looks like the internet in its beginning. I believe it's the future of the money once the governments have a way to tax and monitor it. If they can't, it will stay here, they will try to fight it, but it will like torrent and every other digital thing. The more you fight it, the more popular it will become
Blockchain tech is the next step for the internet. Its not just about currency there is so much more this thing can do and im sure eth, neo and the others are nowhere near the end of it.Yes, did you see that video on YouTube of people discussing the internet when it was in its infancy? It sounded so pointless and nobody understood it, but now it's the foundation of almost every emerging technology. Bitcoin is similar in its importance I think.
50/50 It happens or it doesn'tInteresting article about bitcoin on UK investing website.
http://www.hl.co.uk/news/2017/8/15/heres-when-well-know-bitcoins-top-is-in
Jonathan Garber from Business Insider thinks that bitcoin is likely to peak at around $4800 before falling back below $3000.
What do you guys think?

That's how the big whales pump and dump, babyNormally when the press agrees some asset will go up, it's because they want to sell.
You should have asked for btc and not usd you would have moreif i would get like 1c for every story: if i would buy bitcoin some time ago....
i would have few extra bucks
Honestly, I have been asking myself the same questions about bitcoin. From my experience, it is a pain in the ass to store and keep safe, it has no real tangible origin, and it is not really useful to buying the daily or even monthly necessities of life.
Bitcoin is more of an enigma than anything else. It seems to be a bubble that is just itching to burst! I have always felt that it is too much technical trouble and hassle just to own and keep them safe. Whereas owning paper money, gold, silver, etc, is much easier and less worrisome!
Some things to think about bitcoin:
All of those questions, and more, are important to the eventual end-user. Right now it is a fun and volatile investment opportunity, where day trading, speculation, and holders could potentially make a large profit. But once the bubble bursts, then what? What can a high-tech and confusing monetary system really do in the future for the average consumer? And if it can never be brought to the mainstream effectively, how can it last as a "currency"?
- Where does its true value come from?
- How do you truly keep it secure and still conveniently use it? (or is that desire a contradiction?)
- Who really fully understands it's whole design and utility?
- How can the "average" person use it?
- How does it come into being and exist? And where?
- How can it ever be utilized in the mainstream market?

I didn't know that. You say it likes it common knowledge lol...you know you just can fake a heist, right?
It's like stealing all from your company but you say some "hackers" did it.
Well, when it comes to these kind of things, you just need to have a:I didn't know that. You say it likes it common knowledge lol
But i suppose youre right, theres no way to ascertain the validity of a theft in this space
