Bitcoin apparently going to hit $4800 then drop back down

Well one said that bitcoin gonna crash to ground after august 1 . But the only thing that happened is the price is doubled
 
Yeah, everyday some clown come and say, wait and bitcoin is failing, and it never does.

They are just trying to get a hit of luck, if it falls, he will be a genius important guy everyone listens to, if it doesn't no one will care cuz he will be busy buying-selling his coins at the new price.

You mean @Sherbert Hoover who called us clowns and know nothing when we didn't agree with his bubble theory. I said I will remind him some day and ask for apology but the thread was closed.

Anyway, what I know for sure, is no one can tell what will happen 1 second in the future or he would be the king of the world. All you can do is take the risk or leave it :)

Well I am looking at it like this - I definitely think its gonna keep going up in the long run (Even if it does peak just now at $4k / $5k or whatever).

If it keeps going up then its good because my bitcoin is worth more.
If it goes down then its good because I can buy more (At the moment I regret not buying more when it was $2.5k (And of course I regret selling bitcoins when it was in the hundreds of dollars as well)).
 
I am watching BTC at the moment and looking to buy at around $2.5k. There should be some profit taking that causes price correction at some stage. At the current price, I do not see demand pushing the prices any higher unless price correction occurs. So I do have to agree up to certain extend with the article shared.
 
probably at one moment the price will crash, i dont think it will last until the end of 2017 , then il buy some myself :D
 
My research says it will cross 5147.76 and then theres a 50% chance of drop from there

No point rushing in at such price point unless there is proven demand pushing and supporting the price. Agree with your view point on the drop potential. Doubt BTC will crash as it seems to be here to stay.
 
there seems to be a news story every week with the same exact headline: "hackers steal $25 million in bitcoin"

isnt it just a matter of time before investors realize the following:
1) bitcoin isnt safe from theft
2) not enough major retailers even accept bitcoin

...and then there will be an epic crash?
 
People aren't really looking at the bigger picture.

I believe BTC is here to stay and the is only way for it to go, which is UP

It might take small hits, loose 300 or 400$ every now and then, then it will come back higher.

It's now the official coin of major illegal trades, hundreds of stores and merchants trading in millions using it. It became the golden solution for big organizations, governments and dealers. So, unless some one discovers a very big exploit in the whole system, it won't go anywhere.
 
Normally when the press agrees some asset will go up, it's because they want to sell.
 
A lot of people seem to be focusing on the price of bitcoins, I'm only focused on getting my bitcoins up, cause that things goin hit 10k next year.... Get That Money

100% exactly my thoughts!! Like I said, I will be quite happy if it plummets back down because I will buy more for sure. I also think that digital currency is the future, its going to be huge even if there is lots of skepticism right now. And I don't think it really matters whether bitcoin is the best one, or whether it has flaws, it was here first and its taken hold and its here to stay - just like Blueray, Just like VHS, just like Microsoft.

I agree with you up is the only way, regardless of how the price fluctuates in the short term.

Yea, thats what my dad always says - whenever there is news published within finance industry there is always another reason why the person is publishing that news - for example just like you said, if someone wants to sell. And also that when big news comes out about anything, its normally reflected in the price already.

That basically goes for every BTC thread on here. Everyone has an opinion but few are able to back it up with real data.

I saw an article said btc will down to 3500 after september.

Offtopic: wtf ripple! You sack of shit. 4500 i saw bought at 4000 and now only 3600 should i buy more?

Thats right, nobody really knows what the hell is going to happen. Everyone has an opinion of course, mostly influenced I guess by what they are really hoping will happen.

Regardless, I also have an opinion and I think its going up no matter what, I am sticking to it but I could well be wrong, who knows!!
