Literally remember the day I read about bitcoin on BHW a year ago when one bit coin was worth $5-$12-$20

Should have invested then, year later worth 1K. And will continue to increase due to it's limitation. If there is a downfall it would be later than sooner IMO.

just because something is in a bubble, it doesn't mean that it will crash to a point lower than where it started. Bitcoin's been through 3 bubbles already, and it will go through a lot more until the user base stabilizes.

Let's say there will be 30 times the number of people who want to buy gold next week, but the supply hasn't changed. What do you think the price is going to do? Bitcoin is going through that as each new market/audience comes into the fold. And there are lots of new audiences and markets to fill.
