If you have few billions that you can invedi , just pump Bitcoin and make it all you want it to be.

I think that bitcoin become 20k because it was not controlled, Now governments began to manage it and even to ban, often read about it, like here.

This is so true... He just said it all.

I'm a crypto newbie as of this year and not a Bitcoin holder so don't understand as much as I should about BTC, but does anyone really believe this is possible?
https://www.cnbc.com/2018/04/13/tec...edicts-bitcoin-will-reach-250000-by-2022.html
The Winklevoss twins have also made a similar prediction of 30-40x its current value. So what do experienced crypto people here think?

Do most people here focus on accumulating Bitcoin? Or Ethereum? Or are you only focusing on dollar value?
Why they make figures like $10000 , $25000, $50000, $100000 only ? It will not reach $250000, it will be $256329 in my opinion. :)

I thought people have learned their lesson already. Seems not.

Seriously doubt it. I think this kind of news always comes from people that have serious investments in BTC.

I don't see it, at least no that early. But it's definetely a possibility with the upcoming regulations.

This is in fact very possible.
Blockchain, the technology behind Bitcoin and other crypto currencies,
is going to drastically change our current economic model. And not only that.
The way we buy, sell, trade, rent, share, vote, earn, save or lend, anything.

Whole new industries and business models are popping up.
Old indusries will change, adapt or disappear.

Now, for some basic math:

- The US Standard & Poor's 500 has a market cap of $24 trillion!
- S&P500 represents (only) 2.5% of the GLOBAL stock market capitalization.

- Cryptocurrency has a market cap of $325.840.247.623 at the moment.

By 2022 Crypto (a GLOBAL phenomenon, not only US) will have more or less
the market cap of the S&P 500 index today: $24 trillion.
Or 80x its current market cap.

Now, you cannot just multiply the current Bitcoin price by x80, because we're
talking about the whole Crypto market.
But as the leading currency, Bitcoin will have around 40% dominance.

So, $8.000 * 80 = $640.000
40% of $640.000 is $256.000

Well, there it is!

Tl;Dr

By 2022 the Crypto market will have the same market cap as the S&P500 today.
With a dominance of 40%, the Bitcoin price will be around $256.000.

Bitcoin $10000000 by the year 3523

Am I doing this right?

Looks like we have a pro crypto trader here.

Can you suggest the best Alt coins for me to piss my money up the wall on?

If it continues with its current 3 year pattern, where it blows up in the 4th quarter 20x every third year, then yea, over 200k is possible.

However, ANYONE who calls their shots with ANY market is a dumbass gambler or snake oil salesman possibly promoting a Ponzi scheme.

A more accurate *projection* would be, bitcoin could be valued at anywhere between 0$ and whatever price would cause the market cap to be equal to the combination of all markets in the world, assuming we don’t have an influx of inter dimensional beings come and visit us and drastically increase the value of our world economy, by 2022.

Try anytime anyone does this in media too. This isn’t how things work. Nobody fucking knows

It's difficult to understand when you only look at Bitcoin and the Bitcoin price compared to the US dollar.
But the underlying technology is going to disrupt complete industries.

Just like the internet and email did years ago.
Nobody knew the impact it was going to have.

And just like the smartphone did, a few years later.
Nobody knew the impact it was going to have.

Just like they don't understand right now what the impact of blockchain will be.

Imagine, 10 years ago, you had $10.000 to invest.
Your dilemma: invest in this "stupid" new smartphone idea or
invest in a big, well known company, manufacturing cameras, or watches,
or calculators, or alarm clocks, or flashlights, or radios, ...

You get my point? Who the hell buys an alarm clock? Really?! You have one on your phone now.
You know how big that alarm clock industry once was? EVERYBODY had one! Or more than one even.
Gone. Replaced by Better. Smarter. Faster. Cheaper. Smaller. Cooler...

Anyway. Don't be greedy and invest wise.

whoever believes this needs to go to mental facility for major hallucunations

Bitcoin is digital gold, but there are so much better cryptocurrencies out there
