interesting concept, how are they getting these influencers to pick their favorite coin though? Really needs a big following from a lot of top tier influencers/celebs to really work. And does this open them up to any liability? could keep influencers away

IMO bitclout is not a good brand name

Social media users need a silly name in order to use social media. Like Pingpongh, pickpockit, qwitter and shit like that.

In my opinion the platform is quite scammy (+they use tpeople's data and create profiles without their consent) ,and I clearly don't like the fact that money can go in,but not out. There are so many issues with this project , +the path(for the future) is not clear either , it just looks like some simple speculation.

I must say that I haven't read much about it.. but I don't see many opportunities in it(except if you're one of the founders) because of the main reason from up above . Am I missing something ?

Great question. tl;dr I'm watching, dabbling, and thinking. It seems to me like it might be a "rising tide lifts all boats" situation.

I was extremely skeptical at first but the more I see what people are doing on the platform the more I feel compelled to get in and participate. A couple things that have me hopeful:

Investors like Sequoia Capital and Andreessen Horowitz backed it with enough money that it seems they'd be incentivized to make this thing work.
A lot of people I respect are bullish on Bitclout. I'm seeing them invest with both their time and money, which to me is a good sign.
I'm definitely watching this Google Trend:

soooo.... anyone using bit clout? I would love to know how posts get on the GLOBAL feed. seems random. Mainly blue check accounts with some non verified ones mixed in.

I guess hashtags come soon? Without hashtags there's no way to have your post seen unless you got plenty of followers, which brings me to:

This platform seems to be less about followers than it is about coin value.

Easiest way to get your coin value up? Be rich and invest tons in your own coin. lol

But having fuck you money can get you popping on any social, easily. So that's nothing new.

Other than that you could sell services or products and accept bitclout money.

You can also make 1000 profiles if you got some free time and get your following up, but those would be inactive and won't invest. Vanity metrics only.

Easiest way to get your coin up, if you;re not one of these crypto whales? Sell nudes for bitclout.

changed into deso , and giving out funding for projects to be on the deso blockchain 50M, but i believe this already ended
the platform now integrated nfts in a way, and some ppl love it, some hate it
i saw some HUGE nft whales being into it, so i really thought it could be something great.
but didnt pay attention to it lateley.
