One of my URLs is banned with askimet. Can i just use a Bit.ly link or has anyone got a solution

Will they still be classed as backlinks if i use Bit.ly?

I think bit.ly is also banned by akismet. Most of the name shorteners are since people spam a lot with them.

How did i not realise that? :D

Anyone have a workaround to backlink a domain with scrapebox when the URL is banned?

How do you know if akismet banned your URL?

when i manually put a comment on any wordpress blog it just whitescreens when i have the domain in the website box

I click back and put in a different domain and it goes straight through. Ive tested it on god knows how many random WP blogs and its exactly the same thing

out of interest why wold you need to use bitly - >>?

to shorten your foot print -- unless your doing more than 500k regularly with the same adrees my guess is goggle will not notice

Not google im worried about (for now anyway)

Ive ran two URLs with Scrapebox. One came back with a high success rate the other came back with very little. These were both just put in the website file on the same run if you know what i mean

Only backlinks i get for the Banned URL seem to be blogs without moderation

Dont think its coincidence one URL gets about 1000 backlinks and other get about 50. Also the Whole whitescreening when i try the URL manually on any WP blog makes me think its banned by askimet

Not actually shortening just using a different domain no matter what length

there are some free url shortener php scripts out there you could set one up for your personal use. But i dunno that might be to much bother. What if you get that whole domain banned to? =-p

1. buy a .info domain for a buck
2. 301 redirect to main domain
3. continue scrapeboxing
4. ???
5. Profit.

the simpliest solution is usually the best. you'll get link juice this way and don't have to deal with lame, resource hogging, completely pointless redirect scripts that are banned by half of everything. use this outside scrapebox too (forums + gateway DL + 301 redirect to get around bans = ftw). This also works w/ xrumer + lame akismet modded forums. Then to thank me buy a million bots to automate this whole process :)

I tried the bitly url thing. I used a website from this forum (don't remember what it was called) but it automatically sent the URL to 25 shortening services. There was an article on which services did a 301 redirect. I tried to use those. Anyway, I think that worked a few months ago but I don't know if it works now. The last post about the 301 from the cheap .info would probably work. Would you have to get the 301 (.info) domain indexed in google first?
