Hey everyone, I shortened my clickbank link with bit.ly and when I visit the link it shows a warning like it has malicious content or something. When I try go to their website to contact them it doesn't load or loads half way. Is it just me or has anyone else had this problem with them?? How do I fix it?

Even on some PPD like sharecash they blocked it.

Just use some alternatives shortener or use your own.

Yeah, they are all slowly but surely beginning to block or put a warning on CB links. Just build your own, then you never have to worry about it.

Yeah they do it to a lot of affiliate links.

Alternatively you can get a free domain from smartdots, then redirect it to your affiliate offer, and if needed shorten the smartdots domain with bit.ly.

Dont use bitly, nor ggl's shortening services they'll end up hurting your url's by showing warning once enough ppl complained.. Search for alternatives or even better set up your own shortening service ;)

This is the exact reason I created my own URL "shortening" service. It isn't necessarily a shortening service, but it definitely hides the traffic well.

I stopped using bit.ly long time back , due to bit ly i lost traffic and sales. All my work wasted i never use it again. It is against to cb links.

buy a cheap domain , i found 2 $ .com at godaddy , buy a host , or use a free one(i don't advise that) after that download a free short url script and use that :P good luck .

YES, can't believe people bother with these url shortener scripts all the time.

Also, look up some simple htaccess codes and cloak any link you want.

oh :( i waste my $5 there f*ckng ****** .. i think youtube is still the best >.<

Bitly works just fine with my affiliate links. No problem at all.

If its a real big launch I'll buy a domain name and just enable the domain forwarding feature to my affiliate link. I also have used tinyurl(dot)com for a few years with clickbank hoplinks with great success. I think tinyurl is associated with amazon so it gives this particular link shortening service some credibility.

And what if I short this kind of link with bit ly: productpage cQm [slash] hop = affname? There is no warning pages. Or maybe my link must to be like: affname product hop clickbank net?

I found out it. Sorry for spamming. The link must to be with hop, to ensure you receive money on the sale. :)
