Birthday gift for my girlfriend.

Depends on what kinds of things she likes, isn't it? I'm sure you know very well about her tastes and preferences and if you do want to get her something, it need not be expensive sometimes. Some girls like it when you take them out for an activity (which can even be free!) or if you make them something from your heart. Sometimes even just being there is the best gift, ever. :)
